KJ's Review of Django Unchained
Tarantino's latest film is one of his largest achievements in my opinion. Blending terrifically flowing dialogue with gruesome gore sequences (as always), this is one of the best films of 2012. As a slave named Django is unchained from slavery and released as a free man, but in order to reach complete freedom he must go with a Bounty Hunter to accomplish duties. Luckily, this man helps him to journey on to free his enslaved wife. This film is very dialogue driven, but the sets are equally as impressive. This film screams "Oscar," and I wouldn't be surprised if it owns the awards show. The writing is brilliant, the cinematography is very unique, and the style is almost that of Neo-Noir. Classic filmmaking at it's finest! "Django Unchained" is one of Tarantino's absolute best!
