Ugly movie poster btw.
There should be a limit to how much advertising there is for a film. No matter where I go, Burlesque posters follow me. I have been housebound for a while now.
Saw this at Cinema Politica. Poignant and so human. Restores my hope for victims of sex trafficking!
After taking the amazing French film Ils and turning it into the crappy The Strangers, Hollywood felt like it could destroy yet another great film. This time Let the Right One in becomes Let me in. I say: LET ME OUT AND PUT AN END TO THE REMAKES!!!
NO. I want drama and psychology, not some meaningless ghost crap story. Child protection services.... yeah right. Boo. I am boycotting this film.
As a die-hard fan of Elizabeth Gilbert and her autobiographical novel of the same name, I had a natural penchant for this film even before I saw it. Of course, I agree that it was not as great as it was originally meant to be, nor was it in any way the revelation of the year. But it was very entertaining and very beautiful to watch.
*Absolutely loved the pasta scene. I truly believe that eating pasta hasn't been this cute since The Lady and the Tramp*
Best. TV. Movie. EVERRRRR!!!!! WITH BEACH BOYS MUSIC TOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Pardon my hysteria :)
Great film! Really looking forward to seeing more of Michael Curtiz's work!
Side note: Ida is the coolest secondary character from a film noir yet. So sassy, love her!
So many good childhood memories are tied to this film.
Sissi is one of my most prized film characters!
very very very interested!
WHAT THE HELL?!
This is so boring, it's incredible!
I mean, I, having seen this movie, can't even believe it - and I'm an empiricist!
The world has gone crazy to now be making this type of film.
This is the first sign of an apocalypse!!!!!
I am so blissful. This is going to be quite something ^_^
The return of Guillaume Canet! It was about time.
Sofia Coppola :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This will probably be my favorite summer flick of 2010. The score will rock too!
