Rating History

Three Colors: Blue (Trois Couleurs: Bleu)
7 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

The rating thing orders them how it wants to, bloody thing. [img][/img]

I was given the region 2 trilogy set as a gift by my foreign film studies tutor [img][/img].

Blue is the best film imo at 9, with Red a high 8 and White a lower 8. White is regarded as the easiest to see, due to its more straight forward story i think, but that's why i rate it third. Blue and Red are much more intriguing to me. In the end i'm splitting hairs as all three films are great and beautifully shot.

A note on the DVD set, pics below. I'm glad i have the R2 set as i think it's better than the R1, so *raspberry* to you crazy yanks [img][/img]

Zat˘ichi (1989)

I was reminded of much older films when watching Zatoichi which is testament to them and this.

Not much else to say right now.... but i'll discuss any points you have.

Election (1999)
13 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

A good example of not judging a book by its cover.

Broderick is well suited to his role and Witherspoon is her usual self. Whether she's typecast or not is for another entry.

Great lines, dark humour, the film just has that little quirky element that puts it above others.

Quote. (there's so many, but...)

Dick Metzler : You're going to the Immaculate Heart. Maybe the Nuns can straighten you out.
