The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother
6 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

So I'm pretty sure this catches me up completely. Though, in a few minutes, after I've already posted it, I'll think of some movie I watched a month ago but forgot to review. Oh well.

Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother. So this girl at work told me how great this was. I really love Young Frankenstein so she said I would enjoy it. She loaned me her VHS but it was used so much I couldn't understand what they were saying. But I had already watched and understood what I could of the first 30 minutes and really enjoyed it. However, I was a little confused about the plot becasue of what I wasn't getting. Oh no. What do I do? Oh. Wait. I forgot. I have Netflix. So I outsmarted the VHS and watched the much better DVD. The movie was excellent. I haven't laughed that much since, well, probably Yound Frankenstein. Thank you Netflix, and the girl at work.

Elizabeth. I love Cate Blanchett. She is incredible. And I also love historical dramas. And it seems strange to me that I gave it a 10, but I can't think of any reason it should have less. Now I'm excited about the sequel coming out next year.

Jackie Brown. Tarantino, you are complete. I have now seen all of your movies. Personally, this was my least favorite. Mainly because I was expecting the whole screwed up filming sequences from his others. Nonetheless, it was still good.

Basic Instinct. So I tried to watch this one before the sequel but I didn't get to it in time. And the sequel has a lot to live up to, which I hear it doesn't. But this was pretty amazing. I watched it twice in one day. And now I know when everyone talks about the crotch scene. Oh Sharon Stone, how I love thee.

The Bourne Ultimatum
9 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes
½

So it's been a while. I just randomly thought, "Wow, I haven't updated my RT page in a long time." About 8 months it turns out. Anyway, I was so impressed with The Bourne Ultimatum I just felt like writing something about it. I haven't seen a movie this good in a long time. One complaint though. I thought the filming/editing was bad in the second one, but this one is terrible. The shaking camera goes throughout and is really annoying. But all the action made up for it.

I almost like this better than the first one. I say "almost" because the first one is on my top 10 list, and this one wasn't quite that good.

It's kind of nice to do this again. Maybe I'll have another urge to do again.

Flushed Away

The Departed. I haven't seen a movie this good in a while. I watched it three times and every time I noticed things that I hadn't before. It was so good that I actually dragged my mother to see it. Something that rarely happens anymore. I was so impressed with this film that I would like to give it more than 10, but that can't happen. Oh well.

Flushed Away. I had not really been looking foward to this. It just seemed ridiculous. But is was great. The slugs were the best part with their singing.

Open Season. This was also very excellent. Though I would have liked to have seen it in IMAX. It would have been great with the animation.

The Prestige. This was a movie that I was expecting to be great. It kept me on the edge of my seat. But the end just didn't work for me. It left me disappointed. And that just ruins an excellent movie.
