Effects were neat-o. Cusack sucks and I couldnt care less about what happens to his children. Overall I'm not mad that I wasted my time on it, it was a slow night.

It was sweet, harmless, the views of Italy were beautiful (I am assuming it was real Venice, I have never been, so I do not know!). Just a fluffy Cinderella movie. Although, Marisa Tomei just struck me as whiny. And it was hard for Marisa and RDJ to be believable as a couple. Bonnie Hunt was the better actress in this film.

Terrible. I made it 35 minutes and had to turn it off. I love David Cross but not enough to finish the show for his supporting bit.

This movie was weird. And not, artsy weird. Just weird. I guess being based on some fact makes it so.

Am I the only one who thinks Ewan can't master an American Accent? He's my favorite actor; I love him. But his American accents are not there. When the film started I was hopeful but his ahhhhs started sneaking in where there should be aaaays ;)

Wont watch it again. Not funny, not dramatic, just weird.

I shouldn't read up on films before I see them. The hype doesn't match the show! There is an overall pretentiousness in it that I don't feel when RDJs on as much as I do when Kilmer is speaking. Pardon me if Im not making much sense... my schedules all off. Stupid night shift.

Anyway I found the plot to be excellent, the tempo perfect and the actors well picked. It wasn't mind blowing... was it supposed to be mind blowing?

One of my favorite scenes is when he accidentally auditions for the part of the film that brings him to LA. I also enjoyed the moment after the dog ate his finger, and he ends up petting him for his own comfort after killing a man. That whole scene in that house was perfect. You can see that he doesn't want to kill the guy, and when he does he's still conflicted about it. That is how it SHOULD be when people kill people. MOST people don't pick up a gun, kill someone, and then light a cigarette and get in a helicopter. When people REALLY shoot people for the first time, its damaging. There's special therapy for that kind of stuff for guys on the force. I appreciated the honesty about killing (and about Harmony NOT being able to kill).

Thinking back to 2005, this was probably one of the best films that year. Too bad I didnt see it til now.
