The Wolverine
The Wolverine (2013)
3 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

The Wolverine delivers something for everyone. For the fanboys the iconic character of the Japanese novel puts in an appearance. For the general genre lovers there is more than enough sword, slash and sniket to leave your mesmerized plus the train fight should leave you breathless. For those who simply like great acting and just filling your eyes with a beautiful body in action there is Hugh Jackman. So sit back and enjoy a great ride, but don't forget to stay for the credits ... Wolvie will return at least one more time.

Got dragged to see this. Great acting if one note histrionics ... snooze worthy film.

Burlesque (2010)

The critics savaged this so I didn't get to see it until cable. All I can is lighten up film mavens, it's fun, has great musical numbers, and the story flows easily with a basically good script. - Sit back and enjoy.

Strangers in Good Company

Sweet character driven story. If your taste in movies are ones that make you care about people followed by giving you cause to think, this is almost a perfect movie.

Lantana (2002)

Finally saw it on cable. (Trying to see Australian movies in the states is almost impossible). Lantana is a well crafted, beautifully written and acted motion picture filled with character studies that leave you thinking long after the film ends.
