Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
7 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

This is truly a kids movie... repeat KIDS. Everything about this movie will appeal to the kids... the music, jokes, cuddly chipmunks, etc. Don't expect much from the movie as the laughs will be mostly from the younger audience. Usually kids movies are good, cough Pixar, but this one was just made for the $$$. I haven't seen the 1st one but it made a LOT of money so they had to make a sequel. The movie was shot mostly in a high school and I felt I could've done a better job directing this movie, no joke. Well doesn't matter since people are gonna end up seeing this movie anyways. Word of advice: this movie is NOT worth the $10, imo, so save it for a DVD rental.

The Book of Eli
7 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Highly anticipated movie featuring Denzel as an action hero: That just sounds badass... Well first of all, the movie is pretty badass. The actions scenes were full of blood and the fighting was beautifully choreographed. Although expecting a full on action film like I Am Legend of some sort, this movie had a weird plot involving religion and Bibles and I guess it tried to deliver a message to us. They should've cut more from the journey or whatever and put more badass action scenes and it would be twice as better. Also I felt like the movie was seriously being dragged on, like I literally thought it was gonna end 5 times before it ended. At the end it's just like that's it? Overall a good movie for all action and Denzel fans.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon
7 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

This movie is barely fresh. What? A 60% rating for New Moon from a guy?! Is he gay? No actually, I just gave it a chance. It started pretty slow, picked it up, action, and ended. I guess it wasn't bad and it was barely good so 60% is a fair review. The action scenes were cool and the scenes in Italy reminded me of Assassin's Creed which gave it a plus. The movie could've been better but I don't know how closely it reflected from the book. I guess it just beat my expectations and overall not too shabby.
