If you are reading this review and you haven't seen Avatar yet, STOP reading, go see it! In IMAX 3D! Ok, the story is predictable, but I was in awe the entire time. James Cameron is a genius. In theaters, I literally felt like I was in this world he created. I was kind of sad when it ended because it was like a snap back to reality. This film has hype for a very good reason, and I think everyone should see it while its still in theaters in 3D...or you are missing out!

Obviously I was drawn to this movie right away when I saw the trailer because of the extremely talented cast and the fact that I love musicals. I guess my first mistake was going into the theater with high expectations. The acting and singing was amazing as expected, but the story was not. I didn't really feel it. Therefore I say...RENT IT. And I say that so you will not miss another superhuman performance by Daniel Day-Lewis.

The Hangover

The Hangover is one of the most funny movies of the year! Each cast member compliments the other perfectly, and the concept is original and brilliant. Although it would be near impossible to do all the things they did in twelve hours, it is relatable to those night you don't remember. What ties it all together is the pictures at the end. It brings closure, and I got the most laughs out of those!

SEE IT!
...but not with your mother.

Law Abiding Citizen

Well, this movie starts our fast! Thirty seconds in, and BAM, killers arrive. Now I must say that although this movie is so unrealistic it gets annoying at times, I had fun watching it. It's a good one to see with friends in my opinion.

Rent it!

The trailers for this movie intrigued me, but I kinda had a hunch it wouldn't be a good movie...
If they kept it simple, rather than making it so annoyingly wierd and try-hard intense, I would have enjoyed it! I liked the concept, and the 'catch,' which kept the audience on their toes during some parts, but overall, the wackiness didn't fit in properly for me. I say rent it.
