Meh...very sub average movie. Nothing made sense, because people who I thought were dead are not. They've just done a horrible job piecing together the X-men films with all the different companies with their hands in it. Sort of what happened to Spider-Man, but they righted that ship. The time gaps and frames are horrible and I just can't get a grip on when this film was supposed to take place. They missed it!
It started off ok. They didn't seem to know how to transition. Lots of foreshadowing and if you weren't paying attention, then you'd be lost. It wasn't much substance, just killing and a underdeveloped plot about Anna wanting to be free. 🤷🏽♂️ - It's not Lucy 2.0, but people will compare it. She was bad ass, don't get me wrong, but it simply didn't have much substance. Big Tomatoes 🍅 gap between the audience likability. It was a woman rules sort of theme, which is in step with society and the trend now.
Good action. No dead spots. They've maintained Peter Parker's youthfulness and at times much gullible nature. He's truly a nice kid that is grappling with being just being a kid, a neighborhood super hero, or Tony Starks Protégé. Good movie after post Avengers. It was a good pick me up, to show life does exist after Thanos
The plot was good. It stayed on track. Just enough humor to keep the edge off. The characters were developed. It was good to see the historic significance of the ancient Titians. Godzilla seemed to evolve, through his weaknesses. Lots of unanswered questions were revealed, which helped the movie goer who never saw a Godzilla film. Much better than the one made a few years ago. Millie Bobby Brown was a good actress in this film as the sort of the child savior that helped keep perspective. Not going to spoil anything, but it ended how I thought it would. I'd go see it again with friends who hadn't seen it.
Lots and lots of symbols in this movie. I feel like I was I. Sociology class for the most part. It's a movie to watch again. Too deep of a message to cram into a 2 hour movie. Unnecessary comedy. Would rather it be a drama.
