James Wan delivers a twisting story based on the punishment of those who don't appreciate life.

One of Pixar's most touching stories.

Dragonball Evolution

A whole mess of teenage clichés between a failed attempt of recreating an animé masterpiece. The magic of Dragon Ball relies on the fantasy of its universe, for which this movie based in an actual universe leads to a lack of essence

Star Trek
Star Trek(2009)

JJ Abrams gathered the cast of this movie to succesfully recruit a new generation of Trekkies.

The Great Gatsby

Amazing visuals but a not so entertaining time line

The Cabin in the Woods

Eventhough the movie breaks all the standards of a horror movie, it fails to have a coherent ending.

This movie is so good because it is really thrilling, it has some really bad acts but it's such a bizzare situation going on that creeps me out. I would dare to say that the Saw franchise was inspired by this movie.

The White Ribbon (Das weisse Band)

This felt like the script missed its ability to tell a clear story and missed some ties at the end. It is very clear that the style of the script is made to make people assumptions about the characters and the story (which is pretty cool) how ever it lacked of cohesion. A thing to stand out about this movie is the 1940 - 50's movie style feeling.

Downfall (Der Untergang)

Great acts with tons of characters but in a well structured script made this movie a biopic success

Sophie Scholl: The Final Days

There is something about this movie that feels bad executed. It could've used some background story about the White Rose and reduce the dialogs (which were pretty good) in order to make the movie a bit more exciting.

Great script. Creepers are where you don't even think they could be

Life of Pi(2012)

A heartful story but missed some ties at the end.

Black Swan(2010)

The tale of a twisted, sick, innocent and sexual ballet muse.

Silver Linings Playbook

Unconventional story with very convincing acts, being Cooper the best.

In A Better World

Bullying does no affect only children, In a Better Wolrd shows another league of bad intentioned people doing their worst, combined with convincing acts. However, Incendies was a better Academy Award contender for best Foreign Film

Tsotsi (Thug)

So this movie intented to grow some faith on me about bad people? Total fail

The Lives of Others

Even toughest men can break with something powerful in their hands.

How To Die In Oregon

This documentary can't go wrong, let the people die with dignity!

An amazing script about keeping inocence in the darkest times.

The Counterfeiters

Great thriller with an amazing style of filiming.

Spirited Away

This is Miyazaki at his best!

Princess Mononoke

Too many conflicts going at the same time, did not feel the magic of Miyazaki's universe as in other films

The Bourne Identity

Great thrill, great action, and serves as an excelent first instalment of the saga

The Bourne Supremacy

The second installment of the trilogy delivers good thrill, good enough to keep the saga alive

The Bourne Ultimatum

Explosive scenes, great thrill for a trilogy end (kinda).

Death Proof
Death Proof(2007)

It is fun, but definitely not Tarantino's best

Django Unchained

Not as impressed as I expeceted, but Tarantino's style is defenitely one of my favorites!

Planet Terror (Grindhouse Presents: Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror)

Robert Rodriguez's style is seen in this move, sadly the story is not as good as gun strapped to the leg.

A Separation
A Separation(2011)

This is why I like foreign films: no twisted-sick situations, no evil, no guns nor vicious affairs, just an average iranian situation. Must see.

The Shining(1980)

Great thrill, outstanding performace, by only, Nicholson who makes the movie more thrilling

Besides a clean direction, funny dialogs and a couple of unexpected twists, I guess I was too hyped for the movie to be highly impressed

Even when humans are at the edge of extintion... they will still be killing each other... Good point Cuarón

Pretty interesting story, very original for its era.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Thrilling, well executed, neatly acted. Great suspense

The Dark Knight Rises

Not being able to shine behind The Dark Knight shadow, Nolan delivered a not-so exciting yet smart conclusion (or not?) to the saga that marked a new type of super-hero movie. Will they be able to deliver on the man of steel?

Great thriller, people is sick out there

Cute movie, but kind of unreal funny side of getting knocked up

The Amazing Spider-Man

Good Enough, it would have had a better score if it had not been very unnecesary to reboot the franchise so soon. We had a Batman reboot, but it was incredibly amazing. Spidey is IMO as good as the previous. They both have flaws, and in this one they could've saved the cheesy ending.

Snow White and the Huntsman

MESS. Kristen Stewart is such a terrible Snow White and dwarves don't die!! wtf! By the way it seems that Stewie Griffing made some suggestions on pronunciating Snow Whjjjite

The Debt
The Debt(2011)

Quite different story, not very outstanding movie though

The Hunger Games

Felt very rushed at the beggining... but great suspense. Great acts!

Kinda dull movie, but it's interesting what a son could feel from big notice comming from his own dad.

The Ides of March

Good movie, not great. Great actings indeed.

Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark

Del Toro has done it better before, but somehow the little monsters work a bit, not enough tho.

The Tree of Life

It takes several watches to catch the methaphores hidden in Malick's film, while it's visually stunning and more perfect acted.

Even the Rain (Meme La Pluie)

Not the best way to tell how our native cultural gropus suffer every day.

Impressive production. It's like Crash (2004) was taking place in The Middle East

Weak start, the acting was good overall but it should've been more exciting taking in consideration the amazing cast. I guess way too many good actors in a movie conduces to disapointing reception, It has happened before.

The Shawshank Redemption

I cried at this... awesome movie. EDIT: after watching 5 times I still cry

The Day the Earth Stood Still

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. 10% goes for the effects and the other 10% goes for the shots. That story did not make sense at all

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol

Great action, great acts could've used someone's dead at the end but I can't complain.

The Mist
The Mist(2007)

One of the best exectued horror movies I've seen so far. Marcia Gay Harden does an excellent job here.

Funny enough but fell into the generic type and could not escape the corny ending

Great perfomance by Ryan and a great thriller. Who says you need a good dialog to make a great movie?

The Big Lebowski

Retarded movie with anoying characters.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

Amazing special effects but terrible acts. Downey Jr does it awful and when Sherlock turned into some kind of a medium??

Last Train Home

Hyped movie, yet interesting

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

What an amazing movie. Beautiful style

Excellent start for a new franchise

The Reader
The Reader(2008)

Great movie, but I had never got so angry with some characters. I won't watch this again

The Devil's Advocate

Great suspense.. the ending was a mess

The Muppets
The Muppets(2011)

Travelling by map would be very convenient. Great cameos!

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

It was just a matter of time for apes to take over the world. Dolphins are next.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Entretaining yet bad executed, why did the narrator stop at the middle of the movie?

I Know What You Did Last Summer

It started interesting but every minute from the beggining was a downfall until it ends very generic

This movie fails at creating interest in the enviorment because it is a constant booming that it is imposible to resist even to the GREEN MOVEMENTS biggest fan.
