The usage of storylines based on the average life of the people where the movie is located is a extensively used cliché in foreign movies. However, Amores Perros is an intense film with a lot to tell about the characters.
Amazing performances and such a great improvement from what is the book that only focuses on the love triangle wich makes it very boring. Catching fire is packed with lots of action acts from almost the whole cast.
James Wan brings another horror film with lots of untied ends for developing a full new franchise packed with great perfomances overall. It was also packed with lots of horror-films clichés, however it could manage some originality after all.
A rising fighter has to choose between fulfilling the demands of his troubled family or to his smart but tough girlfriend. The Fighter combines a great script with nothing but amazing and stunning acts.
A whole mess of teenage clichés between a failed attempt of recreating an animé masterpiece. The magic of Dragon Ball relies on the fantasy of its universe, for which this movie based in an actual universe leads to a lack of essence
Full Metal Jacket delivers a two-part story about the perks of being a marine in the Vietnam war. However, the psicological style of part one does not combine well with the well-packed-of-action second part.
Man of Steel proves that a Nolan's script is recognizable for its seriusness and in a combination with Snyder's visual effects excellence makes this movie stand out above the super-hero boom happening nowadays.
Captain America delivers a serio-comedy failure in which the hero acts more like a clown. The main issue with this movie is the mediocre script that focusses more in building clichés and less in making the movie more unique.
This movie is so good because it is really thrilling, it has some really bad acts but it's such a bizzare situation going on that creeps me out. I would dare to say that the Saw franchise was inspired by this movie.
This felt like the script missed its ability to tell a clear story and missed some ties at the end. It is very clear that the style of the script is made to make people assumptions about the characters and the story (which is pretty cool) how ever it lacked of cohesion. A thing to stand out about this movie is the 1940 - 50's movie style feeling.
There is something about this movie that feels bad executed. It could've used some background story about the White Rose and reduce the dialogs (which were pretty good) in order to make the movie a bit more exciting.
Bullying does no affect only children, In a Better Wolrd shows another league of bad intentioned people doing their worst, combined with convincing acts. However, Incendies was a better Academy Award contender for best Foreign Film
Not being able to shine behind The Dark Knight shadow, Nolan delivered a not-so exciting yet smart conclusion (or not?) to the saga that marked a new type of super-hero movie. Will they be able to deliver on the man of steel?
Good Enough, it would have had a better score if it had not been very unnecesary to reboot the franchise so soon. We had a Batman reboot, but it was incredibly amazing. Spidey is IMO as good as the previous. They both have flaws, and in this one they could've saved the cheesy ending.
Weak start, the acting was good overall but it should've been more exciting taking in consideration the amazing cast. I guess way too many good actors in a movie conduces to disapointing reception, It has happened before.
