Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1
6 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

For Potter fans only. The film makes the assumption that the viewer has full knowledge of the chronology prior. Yates' eye creates another great looking film with a lot action.

For a Few Dollars More (Per Qualche Dollaro in Pił)
7 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

When I first hear this was supposed to be better than "A Fistful of Dollars" I could not believe it. But Leone tops himself with a film with tons of style and great characters. The movie's haunting death chime will stick with you for a long time. A must see.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good, the Better, the Best. To my surprise, this movie is tops the other two films with a huge epic, voyaging throughout the American west. The movie's three title characters are all interesting and distinct. I believe that Eastwood is best when he speaks little and lets his own badassity do all the talking for him. (Yeah, Eastwood is so awesome here I needed to invent a new word). The movie concludes with the greatest standoff ever and leaves you feeling triumphant. Beautifully directed, beautifully scored, this needs to be inducted to the National Film Registry NOW!!!

A Fistful of Dollars (Per un Pugno di Dollari)

The least of the trilogy: perhaps. A perfect movie: most definitely. Though it follows the plot of another favorite movie of mine, Yojimbo by Akira Kurosawa, to the letter, "A Fistful of Dollars" has enough stylistic flare to make it stand on its own. This is a perfect start to a perfect series.
