This movie was entertaining for me because I love Halloween. Maybe, If you don't, this will not be your cup of tea. I really loved the fun parts and the monsters designs. The zombies were hilarious for me!

Putting Halloween aside, I though the movie was kind of repetitive and the plot was extremely simple. But If you go to the movies prepared (as I was) to see a cute movie with NO expectations, you will have fun.

The 3D felt good. I would not buy it but I would watch it again at home. Maybe rent it. For kids this movie is perfect. For adults, not so much, unless you are like a kid (in your heart)! :)

The Artist
The Artist (2011)

This movie is truly a gift. We live in 2012, where movies are re-release in HD and 3D! You have to literally wear glasses in the theater to see the movie, and almost, be in the movie. And in this era, someone had the crazy idea of making a silent film. That my fiends, was an epic decision. But more epic is how good this movie is. Tonight, while watching this instant classic, through tears and laugh, I learned that emotions and beauty have nothing to do with special effects, technology, not even with words. Because, tonight, without any words, I was brought into tears of joy and sadness. Without words, I was brought to cared for the characters and I truly felt their emotions yelling at me through the theater's screen. All without a word. What a great gift that was. And what amazed me more, was that a movie without words, could speak to me so many things. Beautiful things. I wish you all can see it and enjoy it. We, as a society need this. We could use a little silence and a little more beauty in our life. We could use more art, and The Artist is a gift of art to all of us.
