Unstoppable (2010)
6 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Frank Barnes (Denzel Washington) and Will Colson (Chris Pine) both have to work together to stop a runaway train filled with combustible toxins that has the potential to decimate the city of Stanton, Pennsylvania. (Population: 780,000) The directing and knee jerking camerawork is nothing short from spectacular as this film's gut wrenching and nail biting action will keep everyone in the theater on the edge of their seats. Both Denzel Washington and Chris Pine are both excellent actors with a GREAT supporting cast from Rosario Dawson and Ethan Suplee. It has a simplistic plot but we can forgive the film for it (Even if you can say they took the storyline from "Speed") because it is a very fun and enjoyable film to watch so all in all, Unstoppable is the best action movie of 2010 and just watching it will get your visual adrenaline flowing.

Despicable Me
Despicable Me (2010)

A movie that is an adorable family film with many laughs, a great message, and a heartwarming feeling as you walk out the theater. While not as good as any other Pixar film out there I definetly recommend this film to anyone and that watching it in 3D is unnecessary and I feel it was gimmicky.

Megamind (2010)
6 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

A movie that surprisingly was better than I thought; Will Ferrell plays as the greatest super villain in the world: Megamind and his goal is too (of course...) take over Metro City. It is a spectacularly animated as the visuals were beautiful and sleek although like many animated films today the 3D felt gimmicky. Also, even though Megamind is labeled as a "comedy" it packs a lot of emotional punch as well. What Megamind lacks in originality (Despicable Me everybody?) they makes up with the performances of Will Ferrel (Megamind) and Brad Pitt (Metro Man) while the script is full of hilarious wit. All in all it is a great family film as kids under 10 will appreciate the fluid animation and flashy fights while the adults will come to appreciate the sophisticated storyline and the conflict between the difference of good and evil.
