What an amazing film that brings tears to your eyes in an amazing performance across the board. This movie, even if it were not about Queen is well written and well acted. The songs last a lifetime and are timeless. This has become one of my all time favorite films. Rami deserves the award for best actor this year for this amazing performance of Freddie. I couldn't tell the difference from the actor or the real Freddie.
I am sure if Freddie is watching this film, he would have the biggest smile on his face.
A must see film, and a must own when it comes out.
Are you a fan of the Halloween movie series? If yes, then this is NOT the movie for you.
This movie really does NOT pick up after Halloween 1. The first 45 mins of the film they could have left out. It was boring and had no reason to be in the film.
How do you have famous Michael Myers actors come back like Nick Castle and screw up such an easy role to play.
When Michael was on his killing spree in the original Halloween, he was slow moving and had no expression at all. Today when he is in 40s or 50s, he seems to move so fast with lots of quick expressions. Wouldn't you slow down as you got older? It seems we have it backwards here.
Jaime Lee Curtis's role was so bad and dull. A woman that has made a 30 year lifestyle of making a house that could withstand a war. She has 5 locks on her front door and also has a drop bar. It would take a tank to knock this down. However, she is so stupid to have a front door with glass windows in it that all you have to do is break the glass and unlock everything? Also for a woman who has spent her life preparing for battle with EVIL, she has guns that are so outdated, I think she bought them in the 1800's. I mean they are guns like revolvers and carvery rifles that every shot you take you have to cock the gun handle again. There is even a scene in the movie where she is given 3 thousand dollars to do an interview about Michael. Why didn't she take that money and buy a real rifle that was made in this century.
Yes this movie made 77 million dollars opening weekend, but who the hell saw it? I went to a 3:45 showing on Saturday the 20th in a busy city, and there was no more then 10 people in the theater including me and my guest.
This is truly a film that made this look like the best Halloween movie ever in the previews, but when it comes down to it, its a horrible horror film by any of today standards. Forget horror film, its a BAD film by any standards period. Will not be buying this movie on 4k when it comes out.
Out of all the halloween movies, this has to be the bottom of the list. YES I know that's hard to say, but honestly it wasnt a movie. It SUCKED!
My least favorite Nicholas Sparks film, but not bad. The first half of the film really does not make you fall in love with the characters. It's a long stretch to finally get to the part where you start to care. Unlike all of the previous Nicholas Sparks films, this just seems like a film you could pass on. The main characters really don't have the energy or great chemistry that previous actors have had in other films from Mr. Sparks. I was shocked the extras on the Bluray really only consisted of two deleted scenes that you could have passed on. This film felt rushed out and no love put into this movie like all other films. I always jump to see a Nicholas Sparks film, but this one really wasn't all that loving...
NOT ENOUGH CAT! While I enjoyed this film, the trailer makes you feel this movie is basically about a cat. Like the movie "Drive" where everyone thought Drive was an action movie it wasn't. Keanu is misleading to make you believe it is about two guys trying to find their cat. While this is true, I was left with a feeling that we used the cat to get you into the theater, but the cat is only part of the first 10 mins of the movie and the last 15 mins of the movie. The cat also makes an appearance here and there, but really NOT what I was expecting.
If you are a person who is a cat lover and thought this movie was about a cat, YOU ARE WRONG.
Really enjoyed this movie, but overall I felt mislead..
If you enjoy Nicolas Cage, then you will enjoy this film.
I enjoyed this film as it dealt with things you do not normally see in horror films today. The film kept me on the edge of my seat and had some great effects. I guess you would need to suspend belief a bit to enjoy this film, but well worth the cost I paid on blu-ray. Glad I own it.
Take a chance and give it a viewing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did..
