Good movie overall but makes little sense
Fantastic movie. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Admit I’m a big Queen fan in advance and this movie was awesome!!!
If I wanted to see Grumpy Old Men, I’d just go visit my family at the holidays.
This movie sucked. I don’t understand the good reviews.
Good movie but not that good. Reminded me of Stepford Wives. Acting is pretty questionable
Just a lot of fun.
Great movie. Tremendous story. I can watch this over and over.
It would be better without all that having a kid or not crap in it as a theme. Just make a funny movie and leave it at that. Forget trying to deliver messages and especially one like this. I don’t need preaching to. I gave it two stars because there were funny moments.
A bit of a snooze fest. Bale does a great job in this role but it’s not enough. How do these movies get made? Theater was packed. I don’t understand that.
Trying too hard. Some comedies are painful, this is one of them. Nice effort, but doesn’t make it.
Funny in many places. Good harmless entertainment. Downsides are: I’ve seen this story before; we have a couple arguing about infidelity and cheating, which was a real downer; and the whole “baby” angle sucked. But again, humorous in many spots. .
Alex Honnold is an inspiration. He tackles a task even elite athletes wouldn’t dare try. Wow.
I liked it. Good story.
Painful. No chemistry. Depressing. Dull. Disjointed. Lousy.
Okay movie but not as good as it could have been. The casting here was way off. Sorry but John Krasinski sucks as an actor, at least in this movie. Yuck.
Good movie overall. Reminded me of No Country for Old Men with its twists and turns and some violence. Again, I very much liked it. But it had one major flaw: the old Hollywood deal of casting an old man married to a much younger woman, in this case the Woody Harrelson relationship and trying to disguise it like they’re the same age. You’re not fooling anybody.
Horrible movie. Wants to be like Breakfast Club: throw some misfits together. To say it didn’t work would be a vast understatement. Depressing couple Lisa Kudrow and her husband in the movie. Just awful the whole movie. Anna Kendrick simply cannot act.
I think they were trying to be like The Hangover. But they failed miserably. Has Jennifer Aniston ever been in a good movie? This is absolutely terrible.
What a predictable hunk of crap. The formulaic plot was only outweighed in stupidity by the ridiculous casting. Meryl Streep as a river guide? Kevin Bacon as a criminal? Oh this was bad.
Awful awful awful movie. I went to see it because I loved McCarthy in Bridesmaids. This movie stinks.
