Black Swan

And absolutely amazing piece of filmmaking. Other than TOY STORY 3, BLACK SWAN is the best film of 2010, and one of the most complex, beautiful films I've ever seen. Portman's performance is absolutely mesmerizing, and if she hadn't won her Oscar for Best Actress, I would have been completely dumbfounded by the Academy. Kunis was no doubt snubbed of a nomination. The acting throughout the whole cast if fantastic. The cinematography and choreography of the whole film is something that grabs you in and entices you. A very well-done film about what happens when you unlock a certain part of you--losing in to your darkside. Also, while not classified as a horror film, the film is certainly much more frightening than any recent horror movie. Probably the most artistically-powerful film I've ever seen. A must-see for anyone and everyone.

Surrogates (2009)

While resembling 2004's I, ROBOT just a tad-bit, this film delivers some interesting originality. Good performance by Willis.

Casino Royale

A completely unworthy sequel to the great JAMES BOND franchise. Some interesting action sequences, but a lacking plot, and uninteresting acting on the part of Daniel Craig.
