A remarkable visual but slightly empty at the end - powerful and emotional, but somewhat empty.
Extremely funny and well made, but somewhat niche in the comedy department. You'll either love it or hate it
I have to give props where props are due: the visuals were fantastic and the plot was crap. You get what you're paying to see, but I wasn't impressed.
A flawless execution of a touchy subject involving the Red Scare and the cold war. This film is touching and heartbreaking along with being beautifully animated.
Finally an incredible film from Almodóvar. Everything up to this point has failed to impress me considering how revered he is. When he can make a film like this I understand why critics like him. This is the first truly great film from Almodóvar.
