One of the greatest films ever made. Perhaps some things weren't accurate, but I thought of this more at a simple storytelling point of view. Its beautifully shot, brilliantly acted and very intense and real. Some have argued over it's portrayal of the soldiers. Claiming that the movie made them out to be a bunch of idiots. What the hell are they talking about? The portrayal was quite positive really. SSgt. James is portrayed as a bit reckless, but when you get right down to it, he's a good soldier and a decent man. Same goes with the other characters. The iraqis are portrayed as good people too. This isn't one of those "I hate Iraq" type of films. Its just a film about the soldiers and a brilliant one too. Really suspenseful and pretty much flawless really. This film is not about politics, and although the opening quote states war as a drug, its actually not really anti-war. Doesn't really have an opinion, which is good. It can work for anyone. Definitely worth seeing. Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie are great.
