Eric B.'s Movie Ratings - Rotten Tomatoes

Movie Ratings and Reviews

A great drama film about the Miracle on the Hudson. Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart make for great characters who are likeable and the film puts you in their perspective. All the crash scenes make for powerful moments in the film that really make you wonder... should you really get on that place?
Just kidding. Statistically speaking, it's the safest way to travel lol.

Suicide Squad

As a big DC stan, I was hoping and praying this movie would get the DCU moving in the right direction, but this was strike 3 for Warner Bros (although I LOVED Man of Steel for the record). They just don't know what they're doing with DC material. They ruined the Joker and cut all of his scenes, he was the only reason I wanted to see the movie. All the other characters were just there. They didn't even get the Joker/Harley relationship right at all, not even close. Not gonna waste my money seeing it again or get it on blu ray when it comes out.

Bad Moms
Bad Moms(2016)

Saw this movie due to all the hot actresses in it and it didn't disappoint. It was funny, had some sexy scenes and had a happy ending. That's all I was looking for and expecting when I saw it.

Went into this movie with no expectations, just saw it one day cause I had nothing else to do. I enjoyed it. The dare scenes they had to do were enjoyable and even nerve racking at times, no pun intended. The movie's message clearly is about not letting technology take over our lives. Emma Roberts is hot as hell by the way.

Batman: The Killing Joke

It's about time they made The Killing Joke as an animated movie. And unlike everyone else I did not mind the Batman Batgirl fuck fest lol. It's not the first time they've had a relationship, so i'm not sure why everyone flipped out. Per usual, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill did great jobs and so did the supporting cast. The actual scenes that are based off the source material was obviously the best part of the movie and makes it worth a watch.

Star Trek Beyond

A satisfying third movie in this new reboot. It was probably the "least best" of the new movies but by no means bad. Beyond was a bit slow at times but it works overall. I enjoyed the story, and as usual the characters were fun. The main villain was okay, I liked his backstory and how he had a link to the old star fleet, and how he was a pre-Federation soldier like the main characters are now. This movie probably would have been better if JJ Abrams was still directing, but he was busy making better space movies, such as The Force Awakens.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates

A pretty damn funny movie. I loved Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Rec so seeing this was a no brainer. The comedy was great, the characters were fun, and it had a happy ending. Nothing amazing or ground breaking but definitely worth a watch.

The Purge: Election Year

Probably the best of the Purge movies. The added layer of an election enhanced the story in a fresh way. The city setting was great again like it was in the second one, I liked the underground people who help the wounded which makes be hopeful that in real life there would be people like that, and I liked the characters. I liked how at the end she won and put an end to the annual Purge, also meaning there shouldn't be anymore sequels too.

The Shallows
The Shallows(2016)

Easily the best shark movie after only Jaws. The Shallows does a great job of creating a connection between you and Nancy, played by my new celebrity crush the beautiful Black Lively, and you'll be rooting for her to survive like you root for your favorite sports team. Literally, the crowd and myself were cheering for her during the movie and applauded her when she survived in certain attack scenes in the movie. The Cinematography was great, the action and suspense were great, and the ending was great. The Shallows actually ended up being my favorite movie of 2016 (so far).

Captain America: Civil War

Easily the best MCU movie to date. It does what BvS did not do; respect the source material and tell a straight forward story. All the characters had their moments to shine, but Spider-Man, Ant-Man and Black Panther really stole the show in this one. It really got me excited for a new Spider-Man movie and a Black Panther movie. The only weakness of the movie was the overall villain but he was okay.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Wow. So where to begin... This. Movie. Was. Ok. But that is the problem, it was just so ok that it was... ok. This was the first time Batman and Superman ever shared the big screen together, it was supposed to be the best comic book movie of all time. It had so much going for it. A fantastic cast (ALL the actors do great job), a great writer and a director who has a masterful eye for action. The story and development may fall a bit short, but the action is amazing no doubt. It feels a bit rushed at some points, and it crams a lot for the viewer to digest. I had to see the movie 3x before writing a review because it took me a while to figure how I felt about everything. Using Doomsday as the villain was certainly jumping the gun, but it ends up working a little bit. The CGI on Doomsday wasn't the best sadly which is surprising coming from Zack Snyder. The movie sets up for the Justice League pretty well and we can only hope that after two strikes (although I liked both Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice) they finally hit a home run with Justice League.

10 Cloverfield Lane

Extremely disappointing if you're going into the movie hoping for a real Cloverfield sequel. For what the movie is, it's pretty damn good. John Goodman gives the performance of a lifetime, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also does a fantastic job. The movie has such great tension and such great build up until the very end, but the very end there is no bang for your buck. We deserve a REAL Cloverfield sequel though.

London Has Fallen

Nothing special about this sequel just a mindless brutal action flick. It's a fun watch.

A solid film with a character I've never really cared much for. Deathstroke is better. DC is better

The Revenant
The Revenant(2015)

Although its very long and drags a bit towards the end, The Revenant is a good film that has brilliant performances from Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens

The movie we waited years to see. Great cast/characters, great action and story telling, great visuals, great Star Wars mythology, decent villain, overall just great. JJ Abrams was the perfect choice for director and I wish he was given the entire trilogy.

Another great Dan Craig 007 movie. I really liked the story and villain of this one and how it connects to the previous films. The action was great as usual and the ending can possibly lead to more...

Bridge of Spies

Another good Steve Spielberg movie, this time about the Cold War. The tension and story telling are done very well and Tom Hanks does a good job as usual.

The Martian
The Martian(2015)

If you're a space nerd like me you should like this movie a lot. Matt Damon and the others do a great job at making this a realistic space adventure with fun and suspense.

Straight Outta Compton

Fantastic movie. The actors playing NWA were all great and the music was on point. Even if the NWA was before your time like it was before mine, it's easy to enjoy this movie.

Fantastic Four

I'm not sure why in 2015 it's still hard to make a super hero movie. Fox really has no idea what they want to do with their movies which is a shame. This cast was bad, story was bad, characters were bad, everything was bad.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

Another awesome Mission Impossible movie. It may not reach the highs of it's predecessor, but it's a great sequel that stands on its own. Maybe a bit too similar to Skywalk in terms of story, but it works fine here. Tom Cruise still has it and has a good supporting cast behind him

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'

Probably the best DBZ movie to date. Every character gets time to shine (except Trunks and Gotten who are MIA), the action was great, the animation was fresh and it was pretty funny too. Frieze was the right villain to bring back for this movie and it worked well. My only problem with the movie was the ending. Vegeta deserved and earned the right to kill Frieza since he was haunted by him his entire life as his slave.

A pretty funny movie that is a bit over the top but it works pretty well.

A fun addition to the MCU. Its nothing amazing but it stands on its own in the shared universe. Who knew Ant Man would ever be a thing? They did a great job with the whole ant size aspect of the filming which is what it comes down to.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

A good sequel to the first Avengers movie but ultimately falls a bit short of the first one. An ok villain with good new characters but i didn't like the direction they took Banner and Black Widow i thought it was a bit lame.

Run All Night

Another good Liam Neeson action film with a decent story and good characters. Not as good as Taken but it's entertaining and with a few surprises.

A more entertaining version of American Hustle. Will Smith and Margot Robbie have a great chemistry in this movie and it excited me for the Suicide Squad movie. The cons in this movie are awesome yet over the top which makes it fun. The tension during that football scene was great and so were all the twist scenes.

Kingsman: The Secret Service

A pretty awesome over the top action comedy movie. The main roles were played well and it had a pretty explosive ending haha.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water

A fun movie no matter how old are you. If you loved the show you'll like the movie too.

Project Almanac

I didn't think this movie looked good or anything but i'm a sucker for time travel so i saw it. I was actually surprised by it and i enjoyed itd the characters. The only thing i did not like about the movie was the very last line in the movie lol. But it was a fun watch with a surprise ending that i saw coming and i'm sure others did too.

Amazing movie that shows the problems that Black Americans had to put up with back in the day. The entire cast did a great job and the movie itself looked great representing the way America looked back then. MLK Jr. is undoubtedly one of the greatest human beings to ever live, and this movie did him justice.

Taken 3
Taken 3(2015)

Definitely the weakest Taken movie out of the trilogy, and hopefully it stays a trilogy. The action was still good as usual but it's time to let these movies go.

American Sniper

A good US military war movie about a true hero. Bradley Cooper gives probably his best performance yet and does a great job of playing Chris Kyle the greatest sniper in US history. The cast was good and the action was done right with a lot of tension and nail biting moments. It's a shame that liberals scum bags like Michael Moore and Seth Rogan are ripping the movie just because they don't like their country.

What an amazing movie Interstellar is. Christopher Nolan has done it again. He finally left his comfort zone and did a CGI-heavy movie and God damn, he knocked it out of the park. From the actors/characters, the settings, the visuals, the science and creativity, and the mind blowing ending this movie is nearly perfect. Interstellar is a spectacle in IMAX I highly suggest you view it that way.

A Walk Among the Tombstones

One of the more lack luster Liam Neeson films I've seen, I thought it was just ok. He of course does a great job as a former NY cop and does great as a detective. The story was ok, the other characters were kind of bland, but the ending was the best part for sure.

The Purge: Anarchy

This is what the first Purge movie should have been about. Instead of just focusing on one stupid and idiotic family, they should have showed an entire city during the purge. Purge: Anarchy had a better story, group of characters, and action than it's predecessor and was much better overall. It still had a couple of goofy scenes but overall it worked much better this time.

Guardians of the Galaxy

For a movie about an outsiders group that consists of a talking Raccoon, a walking tree, a blue man and a green woman, it was a very good movie. Starlord and Rocket stole the show and it actually had a good villain duo. It was pretty sweet to see Thanos finally on the big screen and here him talk. Marvel Studios finally made a second film that has a few layers of depth to it, the first being Cap 2, hopefully this is the start of a new trend for them.

Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

Fantastic sequel to Rise and far better than Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (which this new one is most similar too with the war and all). I still wish James Franco's character had still been alive or at least would have been mentioned more in this film but oh well. Both the Ape and human aspects of the film were great, the Ape's livelihood were shown well and the human survivors were done great as well. I could have used some more Gary Oldman but he went out in style at least. The end of Dawn leaves the sequel for several possibilities, I hope they continue from the easter egg from the first film with the astronauts returning to earth after the Apes have taken over.

Transformers: Age of Extinction

As someone who never watched the show and only saw the third movie, I thought Age of Extinction was a good film. The action and special effects were of course great, and Mark Wahlberg and the new cast were far better than the old cast(s). Other than it being way too long and dragging on quite a bit, it was a good action war sy fy film.

Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow

I thought the trailers for the film made it look like a goofy concept, so I saw it with no expectations at all. I thought Edge of Tomorrow was awesome! The concept of living one day over and over was displayed and explained in the film very well and it made sense. The aliens were a cool and original concept and it seemed like a real war movie, just against aliens. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were great in the film and they worked very well together and I found myself hoping they'd "end together". If you like war time films or Sy Fy action films, this is right up your alley.

22 Jump Street

A lot funnier and more action packed than the first one. This one was a bit weak on the plot, but it's a comedy film so it doesn't matter as much. Ice Cube had a bigger role in this one, and my God he was hilarious. The ending during the credits was pretty funny and well thought out too.

X-Men: Days of Future Past

Definitely the best X-Men movie made. It's far better than Captain America 2 and the Avengers. It told a great story and had some crazy twists to it. The action was great, and of course the actors in this film each nailed their roles. Thank God Fox owns X-Men, they're heading towards a great direction right now with the franchise. I'd still say The Dark Knight trilogy and Man of Steel are the best super hero films ever made, followed by Spider-Man/Spider-Man 2, but X-Men Days of Future Past is RIGHT up there with those.

This was not a Godzilla movie. This was a military movie that happened to have monsters in it. As a huge Godzilla fan who has seen all of the movies, I can honestly say I thought the 1998 Godzilla and even Cloverfield were far better monster films. This new Godzilla film kills off the most interesting and likeable character in the movie only 35 minutes in, and then teases Godzilla at least twice before you actually get to see him do anything. Plot holes and bad characters/writing ruined this film. On the positive side though, the other monsters were actually awesome, I really liked the way they looked and their EMP ability. As a big time Godzilla fan, I was extremely disappointed in it.

A pretty funny film with good actors both young and older. The best scene was when Seth Rogan and Zac Efron were fighting and still arguing about which Batman was better between Michael Keaton and Christian Bale.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

TASM 2 was a really good film. Definitely better than its predecessor, and certainly better than Spider-Man 3. I think I put it slightly under Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 from the original trilogy.

The story in this one is great, until maybe the third act where it gets a bit rushed from there. The action and character development makes up for that though, the action was done amazingly and the development between Peter and Gwen was fantastic, just like the first film the chemistry between those two as actors was great. The ending of this film was SHOCKING, it left the whole crowd in silence and I even heard a couple of people GASP in horror or surprise.

Dane DeHaan was the strongest villain in this film. His version of Green Goblin was fantastic. He didn't wear a mask, so you could see the creepiest facial expressions he made which added to his performance.

I liked this film slightly better than both Captain America 2 and Avengers.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

CA 2 was a pretty good movie, much better than the first one. Unlike most Marvel films, this one actually had a decent story and a badass villain. The Winter Soldier was a breath of fresh air after having to deal with Loki for 3 films, and the "Mandirin". It still doesn't compare to The Dark Knight Trilogy or Man of Steel, but then again nothing really does.

Justice League: War

A bit of a drop off compared to what DC animated films are capable of. It was a bit too childish and goofy but overall still better than almost all Marvel animated films.

Wow. All I can say is wow. I went into this film thinking it would be mediocre and be a bit of a let down. Thankfully I was 100% wrong. This film delivered in all areas; action, story, character development and of course mystery. It kept you thinking throughout the film and did a great job of it. The ending was pretty good, the villains had believable motives for doing what they were doing. I'm stating the obvious here, but Liam Neeson is the MAN.

The Wolf of Wall Street

One of the best films in 2013. I'm not exactly sure how Leonardo DiCaprio did not win the Oscar for best lead role in a film. His performance in the film was legendary and i'm not overselling it. WoWS told a great story full of fun and great acting of course. I thought the film was much better than Gravity and all the other films that were also nominated for best film.

Lone Survivor

Pretty cool movie. Mark Wahlberg did a great job as a US soldier, surprisingly good actually. Needless to say, they made the wrong call in the beginning of their mission. The mission always comes first.

American Hustle

One word: Boooooring.

Great special effects, but boring and predictable. And dogs don't go "awwwoooo" they go "bark" frickin' idiot.

This film told a tragic story of a kidnapping and it did a fantastic job of telling it in a realistic fashion. The families and detective were very likeable and relatable too because of how realistic they are. Obviously we all know how good of an actor Hugh Jackman is, but this was the first film I ever saw with Jake Gyllenhaal and he did an amazing job as Detective Loki.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

Definitely the funniest film I've seen in a very very long time. Will Ferrell is at his best and the others do a great job as well. The cameos in Anchorman 2 are just hilariously put together and make it that much better!

Thor: The Dark World

Almost as good as the first film but it definitely falls short. It did have great action and a good story though. Then villain was extremely forgettable, he was nothing compared to Michael Shannon as General Zod or Tom Hardy as Bane. The ending of the film sucked, im sick and tired of Loki by now. Definitely better than Ironman 3, but it holds no candle to Man of Steel. Superman is better than Thor as a hero & as a film and MoS has been the best hero film of 2013 by far.

You're Next
You're Next(2013)

Finally got to see a good horror movie that was NOT a remake. The story ended up being kinda lame/unrealistic, but the action and suspense totally made up for it.

On a side note, Sharni Vinson should play Wonder Woman in the Justice League film. I said that the second after the film.

We're The Millers

Damn funny movie. It was great to see Jennifer Aniston again she did great, so did Jason Sudeikis. Jennifer, as always, was very beautiful and so was Emma Roberts (after she cleaned up that is)

The story was funny and made enough sense for a comedy movie.

The Wolverine

Surprisingly very good. They finally made Wolverine a BA instead of a little pansy. The action was GREAT the fight scenes were done very very well. This was probably my favorite Marvel movie since Incredible Hulk or Thor... Haha not Avengers though.

The ending after/during the credits sealed the deal for me. it was a great movie.

DCU: Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Deluxe Edition

I was not a fan of The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel at all, but the film made me like it a bit more for some reason. I guess it makes sense to have Batman finally kill Joker all those years later. But still, the way they have Batman beat the F out of Superman was still bad though, it just couldn't happen that way.

Pacific Rim
Pacific Rim(2013)

Pretty cool story. I thought this movie was exciting during the fight scenes. A bit predictable and it lacked that WOW moment that would have pushed it to the next level.

World War Z
World War Z(2013)

This is by far the best zombie movie ever made. Its great to finally see a zombie movie that was a big production, not just a straight to dvd. I've never been a Brad Pitt fan, i think him and George Clooney are gay for eachother behind the scenes, but he did a great job in this film. There was a great story with great action scenes and the zombies were pretty damn awesome.

Man of Steel
Man of Steel(2013)

Finally, we got the Superman film we wanted, and deserved! Man of Steel told Superman's story very well, had plenty of depth to it, a decent cast, and the action/fight scenes were done perfectly and were the best fight scenes we've ever seen in a super hero film. Michael Shannon was a perfect General Zod and he wasn't just some villain who wanted to rule the world, he actually had reasoning for being on Earth. The ending of this film... My god that fight scene and what Superman did to General Zod was HUGE. Can't wait to see what Zack Snyder does next with the DC universe.

The Purge
The Purge(2013)

"Crime is legal for 12 hours every year" Therefore crime rates are lower, and unemployment is down to record lows...

Because Fuck logic...

After Earth
After Earth(2013)

This movie was alright. I knew Will Smith wasn't the main character, but I was hoping he would do more than he did. It was cool to see him and his son in the same movie and they did a great job together. It was interesting to see Earth the way it was, but of course this film was liberal bias because they blame everything on BS like humans over using to much resources...

A cool Sy Fy movie with a great cast. It told a pretty interesting yet weird story of a possible future of Earth. The ending was a bit predictable though, at least for me.

The Great Gatsby

I loved the book when i read it sophomore year in high school, and i hate reading. But this book was extremely enjoyable and so was this movie. The acting was perfect and it followed the book very well. Leonardo DiCaprio really nailed the role of Jay Gatsby.

Star Trek Into Darkness

This was an awesome movie. Great acting with an awesome villain. This film had amazing action sequences and was just slightly better than the previous one.

The ending was extremely satisfying as well, seeing Spok beating the shit out of KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!

I think JJ Abrams will do a great job with Star Wars.

Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3(2013)

Was a HUGE let down for me... thanks to the Mandarin completely. Oh he's just an actor? That's really funny Marvel! Then Ironman doesn't even save the day, his girl does? C'mon wtf was the director thinking? I did like the action of course, and I liked the fact that it was MUCH more darker this time around.

Olympus Has Fallen

Really awesome movie with obviously great action and surprisingly a good story/backstory to follow it.

If you're a fan of the Die Hard series, or action in general, this is for you.

A Good Day To Die Hard

Awesome movie. Bruce Willis STILL has it. Interesting story with great action and acting.

Red Dawn
Red Dawn(2012)

Good film. Its an entertaining war movie that shows that USA is number 1

This was a good movie. I liked Casino Royal the best out of the new trilogy and then this one. The last half hour of this film did not feel like a Bond movie, but overall it was great.

Paranormal Activity 4

Another good horror sequel to PA.

A good film with an interesting story and idea. I found myself wanting Bruce Willis to beat his younger self though.

Taken 2
Taken 2(2012)

Such a great movie, its bigger and more epic than the first one. The fist fight scenes were incredible and the action was of course great. Had a good story/backstory and Liam Neeson was great as usual.

The Expendables 2

SO awesome. The action is again amazing, the acting is again great, and this time the steaks were higher. I was so glad to see Arnold and Bruce Willis actually have a role in this film. The one-liners referencing they're famous movies were BRILLIANT.

The Watch
The Watch(2012)

Absolutely hilarious and obviously had a great cast to go along with this movie. This movie has great taste in music and the humor was off the charts.

The Campaign
The Campaign(2012)

Another funny Will Ferrell film showing how goofy politicians and debates can be.

The Dark Knight Rises

A great film overall. Bane was awesome and all. I still have some problems with the film though. There's no way the real Batman would take 8 years off of being a hero. And he wouldn't quit like he did at the end of the film. But still, Bane was awesome and his plan was pretty cool. They tied Bane in with Batman Begins in a very sweet way.

The Amazing Spider-Man

A pretty good reboot. The Andrew Garfield/Emma Stone relationship was one of the best love interests I've seen in a super hero film, I loved it. I liked the Lizard and I can't wait to see what they did next.

But overall, Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 were both a bit better than this one.

Overall story makes zero sense, why destroy what you created? Other than that the action was sweet, acting was good, and creativity for the creatures was indeed spot on.

Chernobyl Diaries

The most epic horror movie to come out in a long time. It was both exciting and sh*t your pants Suspenseful. Only complaint is the ending and you never got a real good sight of the radiated people. 8.5/10

Marvel's The Avengers

Pretty good film for the first Avengers team. It had good action and all, but suffered from having no new story to tell and had no depth at all. I just don't like Loki as a villain the way everyone else does, but oh well.

21 Jump Street

Absolutely hilarious. This is the funniest movie by far that i have seen in a very very long time. Its not just funny, its brilliant. Great cameo by Johnny Depp as well.

J. Edgar
J. Edgar(2011)

J. Edgar was a great film about the creation of the FBI. It's a cool story about the man who started it all, J. Edgar Hoover played by one of the best ever Leonardo DiCaprio. Of course the acting was great and the story was very interesting about the man we knew almost nothing about.

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol

Very great movie, Tom Cruise is still a TANK! Saw it in iMax as well so that is always good too.

But the movie itself still had great acting and a great story with some amazing action as well.

Paranormal Activity 3

Better and scarier than the first two.

The Hangover Part II

Not as good as the first one, in both the humor or story departments.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

This film was done very well. It also gave a more realistic way of how the Apes could defeat the humans.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2

This film actually was my least favorite. They messed up the two best scenes from the novel; Uncle Vernon and Harry's cousin Duddley saying goodbye, and at the end of the film Harry Hermonie and Ron did not actually look that old in my opinion.

Cowboys & Aliens

Pretty good, it was awesome to see James Bond and Indiana Jones or Han Solo in the same movie.

Captain America: The First Avenger

LOL people call Superman a boys cout but look at Captain America. I did not like this first shot at Captain America on the big screen. I thought it was way too goofy and i didn't like the ending how Red Skull just basically does himself in.

Super 8
Super 8(2011)

Pretty damn good, and the Alien looks Amazing. And it had a great story that was told well.

Green Lantern

Good story, Parallax was a great villain, and great ending after the credits! It was just a little to silly and the high school teacher villain slowed the place of the film. It should have been taken just a little more seriously. I wish it would have done well and had sequels.

Bad Teacher
Bad Teacher(2011)

Hilarious! And must i say that Cameron Diaz is sexy as hell!

X-Men: First Class

Great story. Magneto stole the show!

Quarantine 2: Terminal

Pretty solid sequel. Wish it had been it theaters though.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

I actually really liked this one. Cool enough story and good action. The mermaids were fucking creepy.

Thor was a good super hero film that told the first story of Thor making his presence on Earth. He was played by a good actor and so was his villain Loki. It set up for his part in the Avengers just well.

Scream 4
Scream 4(2011)

Really good up until the ending, the ending ruined it all it was so stupid.

Great way to keep the franchise alive. it has a very interesting story with great action, plot twists, and great actors with some humor to keep it rolling.

Battle: Los Angeles

Battle LA was my favorite War movie ever. It had a great story and backstory to go along with great action and great character development. The aliens were pretty cool creatures as well.

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

A good sequel to Public Enemies that told the story of Supergirl and it did a good job of it. Another great DC animated film, they do great with these.

Piranha 3-D
Piranha 3-D(2010)

Where to begin, this movie was the goriest movie ive ever seen in my life, its disgusting. The piranhas themselves were cool though, and tell me why did the bad ass black cop have to die??? BS! He was the only awesome character and he bit the dust.

The Other Guys

A really funny comedy police movie with great actors in Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Dwayne Johnson and Samuel Jackson. The story is hilarious and the villains are hilarious too.

Tron Legacy
Tron Legacy(2010)

Good movie, don't know why its so low rated on here, it obviously had amazing special effects n a great story, also good with the action, much better then the first one.

The Expendables

Good movie, great action and acceptable story.

Paranormal Activity 2

Better and scarier then the first, with a great ending.

Batman: Under the Red Hood

This was a GREAT animation film, im so glad i caught this on OnDemand. The action is amazing, great story, and alright voice actors. This is a MUST SEE for all DC/Batman fans.

The Crazies
The Crazies(2010)

Good movie, packs a lot of chills and some humor to keep the film going. Great remake.

Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2(2010)

The first Iron Man was a great film, this one fucked up big time. The story was ok but the villains were both lame.

Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3(2010)

I didn't want this movie to be made, i thought the end of number 2 was great n it ended the story well. This movie wasn't needed, but since it was made it was still a entertaining movie, but i hav mixed feelings about the end for the most part i dont really like it

A Nightmare on Elm Street

I liked it better then the original just because its more serious and scary, great performance from Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy very well done. Just as good as the new Jason movie.

Easy A
Easy A(2010)

A pretty funny high school comedy flick. Emma Stone was great as always and she sells the role of a high school girl making mistakes.

Shutter Island

A pretty mysterious film with great action and great story telling. Leonardo DiCaprio sells the role great.

Great film with a pretty awesome concept. Christopher Nolan does it again. And how bout that ending?!!?

Zombieland is an awesome comedy film. Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and most importantly Emma Stone all did a great job in this post apocalyptic world. The twinky side story was hilarious.

Based on one of the best selling graphic novels of all time, Watchmen is a great super hero film. Has good characters played by great unknown actors. Comes with a great surprise ending that makes it even better.

X-Men Origins - Wolverine

This film had potential but was boring and very different than the comics.

Terminator Salvation

Great movie to show the possible future for earth, i do wish it would have been more war-like and focused more on Christian Bale's character, but what we got was still great. But it should have been more like Battle Los Angeles

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies

Another awesome DC animated film. This one based off the story line of when Lex Luthor became President and he's of course corrupt. The artwork was a new style of animation and i thought it looked great.

Dragonball Evolution

I can honestly say I somewhat enjoyed this film. It was doomed from the start though because of the dumbass fans who were expecting it to be EXACTLY like the show. I was hoping their would be sequels but that never happened.

Basically another version of iRobot (which also was a great movie), Bruce Willis is still the man.

Survival of the Dead

Another good zombie film by Romero, don't know why this was never in theaters though. Must see if your a zombie fan.

Way too long and it made the U.S. Military/humanity look like ass holes which is bull crap, this movie sucked. In my opinion, Avatar is THE most overrated film of all time. Other than special effects, it had nothing special to it.

The Hangover
The Hangover(2009)

A pretty funny movie, didn't really have anything special to it though.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

They were still making the films good based off the novels. Nothing else to say.

Paranormal Activity

Very good for a independent film. Its been a while since i've actually been KINDA freaked out in the theater. This film came out in 2009 not 07.

The Blind Side

Amazing movie. Great acting and story. Enough said.

Star Trek
Star Trek(2009)

JJ Abrams made this film brilliantly. Whether or not you knew anything about Star Trek before seeing the new film didn't matter, because it was made for both newcomers and the hardcore fans. This was the first Star Trek anything that i saw, and i thought it was great. Chris Pine was a great pick for James Kirk he did a wonderful job.

District 9
District 9(2009)

Dumb story, okay actors, but way to long and annoying. Battle Los Angeles was much better.

Didn't and still don't understand the hype of this movie.

Friday the 13th

Much better than any of the original Friday the 13th movies by far. They got really creative with the kills in this movie which showed the makers they were having fun with this movie. Also seeing it on Friday the 13th was pretty cool!

Cool monster(s), good actors, interesting story. Just a little bit to short. Would have liked to seen at least one or two good shots of the monster(s) but it was alright at the end. The build up for this film was just incredible. I love monster movies so maybe I'm a bit bias though.

Good movie with great characters and character development. The camera use was really interesting on how they used it.

The Dark Knight

A great sequel to Batman Begins. Christian Bale was still a great Bruce Wayne/Batman and needless to say Heath Ledger was a great Joker. This film is a prime example of how great filmmaking can make super hero films get the attention of the mainstream attention.

My only complaints about the film is the ending. They kill Two Face before he even got to do anything, then Batman took the blame for his death. That's not the Batman that I know!

Righteous Kill

I don't know why this movie is only a 20% on here, i thought it was great. Keeps you guessing and with great action to go along with it with great acting. Why'd they have to kill 50 cent like that??? Haha.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Amazing revival for Indiana Jones, with an amazing story. Harrison Ford still has it in him. The extra dimensional beings were a VERY cool idea.

Step Brothers

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are a hilarious combo for a silly comedy movie.

Awesome action thriller film with a pretty decent story. Liam Neeson is a great action actor.

Iron Man
Iron Man(2008)

In my opinion Iron Man was a masterpiece up until that very last line of the movie, it sort of ruined it for me. I know Tony Stark is an asshole alcoholic but i still thought it was too early to give away his secret identity. RDJ was perfect for the role and portrayed Tony Stark/Ironman extremely well.

The Incredible Hulk

The Incredible Hulk was my favorite Marvel film leading up to the Avengers, I think it's pretty under rated. I thought it was better than Iron Man, Thor and Captain America First Avenger. I thought Ed Norton did a great job as Bruce Banner, much better than Mark R. who played him in the Avengers.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (AVP 2)

The Pred-Alien was awesome! I thought it was a good sequel to a good Sy Fy movie and the creatures were pretty awesome again.

The Mist
The Mist(2007)

Great story with good characters, also had an AMAZING ending, makes you think about how you would react in a situation like this. The creatures were very creative and were pretty cool to see. If you're a Sy Fy fan or a Stephen King fan this is for you.

Spider-Man 3
Spider-Man 3(2007)

This film had a lot going for it, but sadly it failed. There was too much going on at the same time, sandman, New Goblin, and then Venom. Right when Venom was becoming sweet they kill him off, and that just sucked. Three villains at once is just too much.

I Am Legend
I Am Legend(2007)

Like always Will Smith delivers in the well done Action/Sy Fy flick. The saddest scene was by far the dog death :(

Live Free or Die Hard

Bruce Willis still has it in him no matter what, great action and great story. Sweet to see him in another Die Hard movie and it was great to see him kick ass again. I liked this one almost as much as the first one.

Day of the Dead

Another good zombie remake, very overlooked and underrated i don't know why it wasnt released in theaters. It has an insane amount of awesome action but DOES NOT leave out a good story explaining a lot.

Hilarious movie outlining the difficulties of being a high school student who wants to have one last blow out before college. Jonah Hill was hilarious but Emma Stone was the best. McLovin was pretty god damn hilarious too.

Great film, this is a MUST SEE for ANY action fan what so ever great action and great special effects. The Spartans were portrayed extremely well.

Diary of the Dead

Great revival of the zombie franchise from the great George A. Romero himself, if your a zombie fan this is a must see for you. It brings in fresh new ideas for a zombie invasion.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

This was the worst book, but it was still great which is really saying something. Professor Umbridge is a BITCH! Still did a great job though of changing it into a film.

Blades of Glory

Pretty funny movie with a funny cast. Jenna Fischer is beautiful and i loved seeing her in the film trying something other than The Office tv show.

A horror movie remake that isn't to bad. Very brutal death scenes, when he's a kid what he does is very disgusting. But the movie is to long and it focuses when he was a kid too long.

Clerks II
Clerks II(2006)

Funniest movie i've seen in my entire life.

The Departed
The Departed(2006)

The Departed is both the best mob related movie and the best cop related movie ever made. It shows the difficulties and hardships of being an undercover cop in a rat city. You can't go wrong with a cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Martin Sheen, etc. 10/10 movie thanks to its wonderful story and it's great action.

Rocky Balboa
Rocky Balboa(2006)

A great revival of the Rocky series, this is my favorite of them because it shows how it sucks to get old, i just wish that he woulda won the decision!!!

Blood Diamond

Blood Diamond was a great film with an interesting plot and told the story well. Leonardo DiCaprio gave a power house performance and so did the others.

X-Men: The Last Stand

Huge let down after seeing how good the first two were. Cyclops gets the boot after saying like 2 lines, and the ending is pretty bad with the whole Magneto thing that was tragic.

HILARIOUS over the top movie. If you enjoy this kind of unrealistic mystery shit, you should see Abominable.

Superman Returns

Superman Returns was a decent hero flick. I like the plot and where it takes place (after Superman 2, and ignoring 3&4) with him being gone from earth for 5 years. Lex Luthor never went to jail because of Superman's absence as he was the only witness or so. The film was a bit slow at first, but it picked up its pace. I liked the performances by Brandon Routh as Superman & Kate Bosworth as Louis Lane. But Lex Luthor played as by Kevin Spacey really stole the show. If you're a DC fan or hero fan in general its worth a watch.

United 93
United 93(2006)

If you're an american and you don't like this film... you have no soul. Shows the heroism and heroics of the people who were on the plane that morning. RIP to all those who died that day and screw you to the conspiracy theorists.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Another great Harry Potter film, very true to the novel. The main characters had some shitty hair styles in this film that's the only problem haha. Voldemort's return was so epic.

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

By far one of the best action/sy fy films made. The action scenes/light saber duels were done extremely well. It clearly had some shitty dialogue at some parts, but overall the film was great. The ending set up for the older trilogy perfectly.

Get Rich or Die Tryin'

Not only is 50 cent a great rapper, but hes a good actor too. IF you're a 50 cent fan or even rap fan then SEE THIS NOW. And i have to say, this is more entertaining and better put together then 8 mile is haha.

Batman Begins

Batman Begins was an awesome start to the new Batman trilogy. No way near perfect it had its share of flaws. Scarecrow got totally screwed at the end of the movie which was my biggest complaint, it looked like he was going to have an epic showdown with Batman once the entire city was poisoned but he just got scared off by Rachel which was lame. The training scenes and fight scenes between Batman and Raz Al Ghul stole the show, they were done very well and looked great.

Christian Bale was a great Bruce Wayne/Batman and Michael Cane was a great Alfred.

Kicking & Screaming

Hilarious soccer comedy film with my favorite comedy actor Will Ferrell in it. The film shows how some people can get lest in the moment even if it's a small moment such as being the coach of a minor league soccer team or becoming obsessed with coffee.

War of the Worlds

Very good better then the original and its a scary idea. Just imagine if this really happened in real life how insane it would be. Tom Cruise did fantastic like usual and since he had to worry about his kids it was more believable than just some hero.

Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2(2004)

Another great sequel movie. Its either just as good as the first or maybe a bit better, I cannot decide. Doc. Ock' was a great villain who was portrayed well. The only thing I didn't like was how so many people saw Spidey's face during the train scene that was just going too far. The ending was great between Peter Parker and Mary Jane since it was portraying a huge moment from the comics.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

My personal favorite book & film of the series. I just wish they had done the Firebolt scene right in the film.

Anchorman - The Legend Of Ron Burgundy

One of Will Ferrell's best films. Will and the other actors give hilarious performances as news anchors that don't take anything seriously. The highlight of the film is the fight scene between all the anchors of the different news channels. That scene gets me every time.

I, Robot
I, Robot(2004)

A great action film that keeps you guessing and in the film and Will Smith is great as usual. The plot and plot twist is what gives this film the huge WOW moment. Will Smith is the man.

Dawn of the Dead

Great zombie remake with great action scenes and characters that get so desperate they do crazy things in the film. The movie ends letting you the viewer decide what happens next. Zack Snyder was the perfect director for this film.

AVP - Alien Vs. Predator

A really fun crossover movie between the two coolest Alien creatures in the Sy Fy big screen universe. Seeing the Aliens fighting the Predators with the human characters stuck in the middle of it was awesome for the fans of both or either.

Dodgeball - A True Underdog Story

A very funny movie with some pretty funny action. Not sure what happened to Vince Vaughn's career after this film.

A damn funny Christmas movie for the family with my favorite comedy actor of all time Will Ferrell.

Pretty bad movie. The enemy is Hulk's father which was pretty lame. The remake/sequel whatever it's considered is much better.

Bad film, but not Ben Affleck's fault. He'll make up for this role when he surprises everyone with his new version of the caped crusader Batman in the upcoming Dawn of Justice and Justice League films, and hopefully get his own Batman trilogy after.

Batman - Mystery of the Batwoman

Another fun Batman animated film although it's one of the least best it's still good. They actually were pretty smart about the creation of Batwoman with a minor surprise ending.

Old School
Old School(2003)

One of my favorite comedy films of all time. The old people trying to relive their college lives with actual college students was hilarious and priceless. You're my boy Blue!

X2: X-Men United

A bit better than the first one. I love how this film goes over Wolverines past and he gets revenge on Striker. Seeing the X-Men work along side with Magneto was a good part of the plot too. X-Men 2 had one of the greatest opening scenes of all time, the attack on the White House and President. That opening scene is right up there with the opening scenes of The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

Catch Me If You Can

A wonderful movie that tells an extremely enjoyable story that you'll love to watch. Can't go wrong with great writing and Leonardo DiCaprio/Tom Hanks.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Just as creative and true to the novel as the first one.

This was a great first film for a Spider-Man trilogy. It's fitting to have Green Goblin as his first villain, their action/fight scenes were done very well. I think it could have been even better if the movie was just a bit darker/more serious and if it had introduced Gwen Stacey before Mary Jane. Also, Green Goblin's mask was a bit too much, the teeth should not have been on the mask. Tobey Maguire was a great Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Kirsten Dunst was also a great Mary Jane.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Just like Phantom Menace this one was a bit lackluster in the story, but the action scenes, especially the end scene, were amazing. It was awesome to see Yoda finally fight! The Kamino City looked amazing and so did the other settings of the movie but it was not enough to place it up there with the great Star Wars films.

Jurassic Park III

Pretty cool way to end the original trilogy. Great action and believable story. Acting was on point for the most part as well. Better than the second film but not as good as the original.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter is the only book series I've ever read. I loved it as a kid in Elementary school, and I still love it the series now too. This film did a great job recreated the book. They could not have picked better actors for the series too.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

One of the best animated super hero films ever made. Takes place far in the future when Bruce Wayne is an old grumpy man and has a new Batman wearing the suit. Joker makes a huge return to Gotham and it has a crazy ending.

Pretty cool first movie for the X-Men series. They chose the right actors for this film and Magneto is portrayed greatly. It was a great start to the X-Men movie franchise.

Another Bruce Willis movie that has a very shocking ending. While not as good as Sixth Sense or 12 Monkeys, it is still a great watch that leaves you thinking "damn..."

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

I liked this film. Story was maybe a bit lack luster but the action and development made up for that for me. The light saber duels were done extremely well in this one and just like the others the music was amazing.

The Sixth Sense

An awesome mystery film with a very shocking ending that still gets me today.

Don't understand the hate for his movie. The American version had to be different and the update i thought was good. People like to say "oh you can't kill Godzilla..." Did you ever see the original movie where he dies at the end? That was the best one and they killed him in it. My only problem with the film is the terrible acting we see in it from time to time.

Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero

A pretty good Batman animated film, especially if you like the very underused Mr. Freeze who is one of my favorites.

The Batman Superman Movie: World's Finest

A pretty awesome Batman Superman crossover animated film that began the shared TV universe between the two, and eventually Justice League. The story was fun to watch, with Joker and Lex Luthor trying to take down the two greatest hero's of all time.

Batman & Robin

Not the best super hero film, well actually one of the worst... Yeah it sucked. I still believe George Clooney could have been a good Batman, and Arnold could have been a good Mr. Freeze, but they were obviously given a terrible script.

The Lost World - Jurassic Park

Good sequel with more good action. The film shows how evil some human beings can be for fame and fortune. That final scene in the city with the T-Rex's was pretty awesome though.

The only romance movie i'll ever watch, and thats only because of the real life tragedy of the Titanic ship. Great movie and the ship wreck was more historically accurate than the original black and white film.

Alien Resurrection

Whats to say. Alien 4 is a terrible film with a stupid plot and setting being even further into the future. The new queen alien/human hybrid was pretty stupid and unneeded, just like this film.

Batman Forever

A good sequel to the first two Batman films. Two Face and Riddler are one of the best villain duo's I can think of. The only thing this film suffers of is not being dark or serious enough, it was dumbed down for children which is a shame because the film had plenty of potential to be great. For what it was, I liked it.

Twelve Monkeys (12 Monkeys)

An awesome film set in the future 2035 where life on earth is impossible, except for underground. It involves time travel and a fantastic twist ending that you will not see coming.

Die Hard: With a Vengeance

Slightly better than Die Hard 2, but of course not as good as the original Die Hard. This one had a pretty cool plot and setting with a cool nod and tie in to the first film.

Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm

In terms of an animated film, Batman the Mask of the Phantasm is a perfect film. It's another version of both Batman Year One/Zero Year and then an older more experience Batman. For an animated film, it has a great story and fun action.

Jurassic Park

Amazing and original idea for a great movie. No words can express how awesome it is to see realistic dinosaurs running around attacking each other and people.

Batman Returns

Very weird and disappointing movie. Michael Keaton was still great as Batman but the Penguin character was WAY off. Although the actor played him well with what he was given, his character was written way wrong since he is not supposed to be a monster living in the sewer but instead an evil business man that is corrupt. Also Batman killed way too many people in this movie, which goes against his biggest rule of no killing.

Only good thing is Batman/Keaton and Catwoman they were great.

Pretty disappointing way to follow up with Aliens, which was a masterpiece. Alien 3 had an interesting setting and plot but just didn't handle it right. The new version of the Alien was pretty creative and cool though.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

One of the greatest sequel films of all time, right up there with Empire Strikes Back, Aliens, and The Dark Knight. It took the struggle of the first film and made the setting even more desperate. Once again had an amazing plot and great action scenes to go along with it. Truly one of the best Sy Fy action films ever made.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie

This was by far the best movie of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The actors wore the costumes (that looked great by the way) and were still able to perform the action fight scenes amazingly. And Pizza is great of course.

Die Hard 2
Die Hard 2(1990)

Pretty good sequel to one of the, if not THE greatest action movie of all time. It changed things up just barely enough to feel different, but with the same principals; with John McClane being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Had some great action scenes with a good story and funny lines.

Predator 2
Predator 2(1990)

Don't understand the hate for this movie. If they had the Predator hunt in the woods again it would be to much like the first one, so the City setting was pretty cool.

Danny Glover was a great actor for the role and he did a great job as usual.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Better than Temple of Doom easily, but not as good as the original or the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It was interesting to have Indy along side his father played by Sean Connery which was a good fit for that character.

The first "real" Batman film. Michael Keaton was a fantastic Batman, Jack Nicholson was a fantastic Joker, and Tim Burton did a great job directing this film making it serious and dark. Although i love this film, it just simply cannot stand up to The Dark Trilogy and it has many problems regarding the mythology of Batman. The film would have been 100x better if: Joker did not kill Bruce's parents, if we and Batman never saw Jokers face or name before he became Joker, and he was part of the Red Hood Gang when he fell into the acid. film was still great for its time though.

Die Hard
Die Hard(1988)

One of the greatest action films of all time. It began the amazing career of Bruce Willis and a good franchise of Die Hard films. John McClane is a great character and has real life problems to relate to, other than trying to be killed several dozen times. It also had a fantastic villain performance portrayed by Alan Rickman who gave a powerhouse performance which did nothing but add to the film.

The Untouchables

One of my personal favorite mob related film of all time. I enjoyed this much better than any of the Godfather movies. Told the story of Al Capone and I loved every second of it. Had great action and fantastic character development. You'll love the 4 main characters.

A fantastic Sy Fy action film. It's a lot of fun to watch as it has great action and a decent plot. The Predator was such an amazing idea/creation and they did it very well.

Aliens is both one of the greatest Sy Fy action films and also one of the greatest sequels of all time (right up there with Terminator 2, Empire Strikes Back and The Dark Knight). It had a great blend of action, suspense and story makes this movie an A+. Compared to the first one, this one has more action and character development and less suspense so it just comes down to what you prefer. They're both amazing but i prefer Aliens.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

A good horror film that began a fun franchise to follow. Wes Craven was great as Freddy.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

As a huge Star Wars and Indiana Jones fan, i thought this was A shitty sequel to such an amazing film. Indy did not need a side kick 10 year old and i thought the story was pretty lame too.

The Terminator

One of the greatest Sy Fy action films of all time, Terminator delivers in both action and story which is rare to have both so greatly. The way the future was portrayed and crated was beautiful. The cast was amazing as well, so all of that is a huge recipe for SUCCESS.

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi

Episode 6 is least best of the franchise in my opinion. Still had great action scenes like the first two made, but having the Empire get defeated the way it was was a awful way to end it. The least best Star Wars film of the original trilogy, but still a good film overall with one of the greatest casts of all time of course.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Fantastic film. Harrison Ford was 100% perfect for the character in Indy and this film is just simply a classic. Raiders of the Lost Ark is an exciting tale and journey with very like-able characters played by great actors. The film was just as brilliantly created as the original Star Wars movies were, and just as good as them.

Superman II
Superman II(1981)

In this film it was fun to see Superman actually get to fight enemies with the same powers as him, as opposed to battling Lex Luthor in the first one. If you can get past the special effects of 1981 and just enjoy the film for what it is, you'll like it. I like it a little bit better than the first one just because it had more action and felt more like a Superman movie.

Friday the 13th

The start of an entertaining franchise. This was probably the most realistic/best one, but that's all up for debate. If you're a horror/suspense fan then this is for you.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back

This film had a HUGE act to follow, and guess what... it was actually better than the first one. The battle scenes and light saber duel in this film were great for its time and the story/twist ending were amazing. The end of this film is one of the most shocking moments in movie history. Not only is Empire Strikes Back on of the greatest sequels of all time, it's arguably the greatest film of all time.

Alien is an amazing film that was way ahead of its time. This film was extremely suspenseful and was very creative. The Alien itself and the planet it came from was created brilliantly. Definitely a must see for Alien/Space/horror fans that is still a great watch today.

This first Superman film was a classic. It was a good film for its time, but today these movies were part of the reason Superman was never taken seriously unfortunately. Christopher Reeve was a perfect choice for Superman for back in the day and he gave a very remember-able performance. I didn't like the way Lex Luthor was written and portrayed, but the actor himself did a wonderful job with what he was given.

Jaws 2
Jaws 2(1978)

A pretty solid sequel to the first Jaws film. It had a big act to follow and it actually did a fine job of keeping the film interesting with suspense and good characters. Obviously not as good as the first film, but still pretty good. It was scary/suspenseful like the first one and had great development as well.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope

C-L-A-S-S-I-C whats left to say? GEORGE LUCKAS and his team did an absolutely amazing job with this film. It completely changed the way films were made and how people thought about outer space. I only hope newer generations can acknowledge its greatness. It's certainly one of the greatest sy-fy films of all time, plain and simple. It was also the beginning of one of the greatest trilogy's of all time too.

Definitely a top 5 greatest movies of all time. Even watching it today its crazy and suspenseful for both first time viewers and those like me who have seen it many times. The way Jaws was made was flat out brilliant, with the robotic shark and then also using a real shark when needed was amazing. The casting for the film was great too. Roy Scheider was perfect for Chief Brody, Robert Shaw played a great and creepy Quint, and Richard Dreyfuss was a great Cooper, which all added to the film. Jaws is one of the few movies that can be considered a perfect film.

Hands down THE greatest monster movie ever made. It has a grim serious tone to it instead of a cheesy B movie feeling. Total classic and even better than the original King Kong movie in my opinion. For 1956, the way it was made was brilliant, Godzilla himself looked amazing. In this review I'm referring to both the Japanese version and the English dub with the American Actor.
