Denzel Washington and Viola Davis were excellent in this movie. I was drawn in and held captive til the end... Both Denzel and Viola showed their wide range of skills that made you believe.
I enjoyed this movie.
Enjoyed this movie... I thought it was an accurate portrayal of how easily one can lose their identity and fade to the background.
The actors, actresses and script was phenomenal. This movie really took me to that Era in time in Selma. Many of our young men and women need to see and experience. ..if nothing else to see the struggle and understand the pain and courage of those in the Civil Rights movement.
This movie was not as funny as I had hoped, especially with all the heavy hitters in comedy.
This movie was just okay. It had real potential but it left me wanting and waiting for drama that never really happened. The actors and actresses were beautiful people but the acting was lacking direction.
Denzel played a great role...
Enjoyed the movie. A typical love story and storyline, but I think the underlying story of survival gave this movie a lift. Overall the lead characters played their roles well. I applaud the writer for taking on a subject, mental health, that is overlooked in society!
Movie was not entertaining... Just ehh!
A brutal look at slavery and the tragedies it placed on generations of Africans. It was hard to watch at times and it stroked my heart strings at times but... Truth hurts!!!
A must see for all races...
Loved this movie... Great actors, fun times, sad times and touching moments all the ingredients for a great movie.
This was a cute movie and it follows the past Monster Inc. scripts regarding acceptance and being unique.
Typical love story between two people who found each other after suffering in past relationships. I would have liked for them to develop the abused wife story a little more ... Overall the movie was okay.
