Movie Ratings and Reviews

Golden Eye used to be my favorite.. but now Skyfall is. It has everything: Action, giant lizards, hot chicks, explosions, a sexy Bond, gadgets, nods to the Bond films past, an awesome song (good job, Adele) and it's just the best. Thank God.. It was just what I had been missing.

Life of Pi
Life of Pi(2012)

Probably one of my favorite movies now. I guess it's a lot like the story of Job, every bad thing that could happen to Pi.. but it all works out. I chose the unbelievable. You get to choose your own ending. This movie is beautiful in every sense of the word.

A very boring view in to the life of a grown man obsessed with a bratty girl. Did it really need to be 2 and 1/2 hours?!

Super High Me

A funny look at pot. I believe it works as medicine.. but it's also pretty annoying when you have to spend any kind of time with stoners. I don't smoke weed at all, but I don't think it should be illegal. I liked how funny and factual this documentary was.

Tower Heist
Tower Heist(2011)

I don't really know what to say about this movie. i liked it. It was funny. The Robin Hood plot has been done before, but I would still say, "See it.. on tv or Netflix."

The Inbetweeners

I am completely obsessed with the show, but this movie was a little lack luster and kinda gross. I can't be mad at the boys though, because how many movies are as good as the show they were adapted from?!

The Big Year
The Big Year(2011)

I didn't know what to expect. I love Steve Martin, I will watch anything with him in it. Jack Black on the other hand.. I'm a little more selective. But this movie was really fun and kinda heartwarming in a way.

The Change-Up

Like Freaky Friday with a lot more dude humor and tits. I love Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds.. I don't think they could have gotten two better guys.

Fright Night
Fright Night(2011)

I didn't hate it, but it wasn't as good as the original .

I watched this on the plane, maybe it wasn't the best idea. I was convinced everyone was going to get me sick.. when I woke up. I fell asleep half way through this movie. Saw Gwyneth get her head cut off in yet another movie, took a nap, woke up to find some pig, bird, bat thing started the whole outbreak. It had an all-star cast, so there's that.

The Lion King

I saw this movie when it first came to the theaters and it was my favorite for a really long time. I still love the movie, pure Disney gold, but with the 3D it kinda took away from some of the animation. It made the scenery look amazing though. I'm really glad I was able to see it in the theaters again, even if I only had 2 weeks to do it in.

Cars 2
Cars 2(2011)

I got free tickets to see this movie from Statefarm Insurance, which was cool. I really didn't even like the first one. But I really liked this one so much better. It was cute, heart filled and funny. I loved Holly Shiftwell.
This movie if fun for the whole family.

Bad Teacher
Bad Teacher(2011)

Beyond funny. I'm not used to seeing Cameron Diaz or Justin Timberlake like that. There was a lot of unexpected vulgarity ..and I totally loved it. It's just a laugh riot.

Oh my God! I can't even right now.. it was so spooky and suspenseful. I loved it. It was Drag Me To Hell type awesomeness. What the movie lacks in serious(some of the ghouls were kinda cheesy), it more than makes up for in thrills. Watch with the lights on or with friends, it doesn't matter, it's creepy.

Repo Men
Repo Men(2010)

I loved it all the way to the end. I thought it was a total buzzkill.. no coworker is going to be that malicious. Get Real. It sorta felt like Carlito's Way. It's brutal as hell. Total dude movie. Whatever. I needed to watch a happy movie or take a shower right after.

The Back-up Plan

The only reason I ended up watching this was because it was the only thing on Showtime. I'm actually thought it was fun and cute. Alex O'Loughlin is such a babe.. too bad his costar was Jennifer Lopez.

From Paris with Love

I really enjoyed the ride. It's action packed and John Travolta was actually funny. I thought Jonathan Rhys Meyers wouldn't be able to distract me enough to stop staring at Travolta's hairline, but problem solved, he shaved his head for the part. Give it a chance. It's fun.

Easy A
Easy A(2010)

I'm going to go with it's just sorta okay. I don't think it needed to be nominated for any Golden Globes, but whatever. It's got a fun, young cast, including a Gossip boy.. oh Penn, you stud. Anyway, it's not realistic, she somehow has a ton of money to buy and wear slutty clothes at school and no one stops her. I remember not even being allowed to wear "porn star" shirts or thin strapped tank tops. Plus there's a lame ass musical number, I guess that's how they got the Globe nod.

The Fog
The Fog(1979)

I didn't expect too much. I had heard the remake was pretty awful. But this, the original one, was really spooky. I ended up loving the story and becoming attached to the characters, I didn't want to see them get swallowed up by The Fog.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

One of my all time favorites. Such a fun family film and it helps that the neighbor boy is a babe.

Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!

It was really cute, visual and bright. I liked the cast of voices as well. I thought the theme was a little grown up.. believing in something that you can't see while the rest of the world is calling you crazy. It's about having blind faith. I watched it with my nephew.. he didn't notice.

This could be my new favorite zombie flick ever. It's got everything.. the 1950's, slow moving classic zombies, romance and it's funny. I loved the costumes too. Such a good idea for a movie.

Eat Pray Love

This was a great, heartfelt story about love, life, food and all the adventures we take and we are forced to take in our lives. I really liked it.

Mad Max
Mad Max(1979)

I finally saw this cult classic. It was cool. Mel was such a babe, even with that bowl cut. But this movie had a lot of leather and sh*t hair. And for a movie called Mad Max, I don't think it should have taken an hour and 13 minutes for Max to get mad.

Oh wow, this movie was really, really long. About 4+ hours long. But the costumes were beautiful, Elizabeth was beautiful and the story was very romantic, in a let me gain power kind of way and a bit Romeo and Juliet. Rex Harrison is just too English, I love him, but he did not make a good Caesar. Everyone should see this classic.. at least once.

How to Eat Fried Worms

It's a cute kid's movie. Worm Boy is adorable.. but I can't really relate in any kind of way to this prepubescent story.

The Tourist
The Tourist(2010)

For such a "good" cast, this movie was mostly boring. Angelina Jolie is way too skinny, I can't be the only one who thought she was just bones. She even made Johnny Depp look a little bloated. There's a pretty exciting twist, but not if you saw Salt. My mom said this movie was really good, but she likes anything with Johnny Depp. I wanted some romance, I mean, where did that sex scene go? I really don't think they should have taken it out because of its homewrecking properties.. the movie really needed it. See it if you want, but Salt was better.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore

It really is just for kids.
I'm all for talking animals, but this was a bit much. I only watched it because I was stuck on an 11 hour flight.

Gulliver's Travels

I'm kinda over Jack Black being the romantic lead. It's just not believable, funny only gets you so far. Other than that, it's a funny and stupid take on a classic. But it has entertainment value and an alright cast.

*batteries not included

A heartwarming story of aliens saving a lost group of souls. I grew up watching this movie and it will always be one of my favorites.

Jackass 3
Jackass 3(2010)

Maybe 4 stars is a bit much, but I laughed the whole time. It's funny as hell. I had to look away during two parts, at one point I even had to take out my ear buds. Not to mention, this probably wasn't the best movie to watch on a red-eye flight to London. All my "Ooooh"s and laughs had to be hushed a little. This was my favorite of all 3 of the Jackass films.

You Again
You Again(2010)

Malicious, but turned out pretty cute.. after I hated the whole thing. I could relate to the whole high school bully thing. This movie has some laugh out loud parts. Worth a watch.

It was an in-flight movie.. it's heart pounding and entertaining. I'm pretty sure I just saw this movie when it was called Taking Pelham 123.

Phenomena (Creepers)

What the hell? This creep-out horror flick is gory and gross. It has a really lame plot and the music is weird and/or punk rock. Jennifer Connelly is so gorgeous, it's unreal. I had a really hard time finding this movie to watch, but I'm glad I did, so I can go after the next unicorn.

I'm way over Angelina Jolie, but I watched this movie because I was on an 11 hour flight back from London and was running out of in-flight movies. I actually really liked this movie. It's bad ass and full of twists.. I just wish they didn't get a guy who always plays a bad guy to play the bad guy. This movie is action packed and makes you watch it till the end just to see what happens.

Let Me In
Let Me In(2010)

Booo! You have to watch half this movie before you even find out what's going on. It was beyond boring and no kids are so evil that they would try to pluck some kid's eye out. There was this gross out acid-all-over-the-face thing that happened for no reason. The romance brewing between theses 12 year old kids is just creepy. This movie is pointless.

Oh who doesn't love a good horror flick about evil dolls?! Really the dolls helped get rid of the evil in this old bed and breakfast.. it's so creepy and classic.

An Officer and a Gentleman

This guy who came in to my bar said it is his favorite movie and always makes him cry. With honesty like that, how could I not watch this movie?! I thought it was tough and sweet. One of those against-all-odds kind of movies. I enjoyed it, it's a romantic little film.

Big Top Pee-wee

Not my favorite Pee-Wee, that's for sure. Even though Valeria is a babe, watching Pee-Wee make out with her is creepy. I miss him being my a-sexual friend. The story is a good one, who doesn't want to join the circus?!

The Princess and the Frog

Sure to become a Disney classic. I was happy to see them go back to hand-drawn animation. Such a great story, it was just a little sad that little bug fell in love with the moon.

True Grit
True Grit(1969)

Rough, fun and shows revenge in the old west. I loved it. It's my first John Wayne movie.. the first real western movie I've ever liked to be exact. Rooster Cogburn (john wayne) is rugged and sweet all at the same time. I can't wait to see the new one with Jeff Bridges, I don't know if I'll like it as much.. but who knows, I may like it more. I do love me some Jeff Bridges.

Death at a Funeral

I don't know what to say about this movie other than I loved it. It's hysterical. The cast is amazing. I love black comedies.. not black as in the cast is mostly African American, but like nothing is going right but it's funny as hell. I want to see the original one now.
ps: James Marsden is the funniest ever.

The Last Exorcism

It took me forever to see it. I wanted to so bad. Boy was I disappointed. It wasn't scary, it was beyond boring and it takes place in this crazy hick town. They gave up the whole ending way before the ending though some drawings. I wish they would stop making these movies if they're all going to be the same.

My Mom's a Werewolf

It's your classic Mom gets bitten by a werewolf and goes through "the change of life" movie. It's campy, cute, cheesy and so 80's.

Dolly Dearest

Awful! ..and beyond boring. It's not scary or good. Don't waste your time, it's all too predictable.

The Orphanage

At first it was really spooky.. any time you put creepy kids in masks it's going to be spooky. But then the movie took a turn, it got really sad. Never Never Land to say the least.. heartbreaking.
It was visual and you don't even notice it's not in English after awhile. But since you have to read subtitles, you have to pay attention.. no hiding through the scary parts.

Oh Alex Winter, you're even cute as a mutant.
I really liked this cheesy little 80's flick about mutants. It was just so fun and the soundtack is a blast. Classic.

Exit Through The Gift Shop

This documentary will probably go down in history as the most entertaining. It's wildly clever and original. I felt a little taken advantage of by the end of the movie. Like could we all be so stupid to fall for manufactured art so long as it's supported by one amazing, independent voice? Making art to make money feels like it defeats the purpose. You always hear of the "starving artist", but the millionaire artist? The French fooled us again, he didn't pay any dues or follow any rules.. but like Banksy said, "there are no rules." So good for him and good for us because we now have this awesome movie.

Starman is the incredible story of an alien coming to earth and taking the body of the ever sexy, Jeff Bridges, who happens to be the dead husband of a now shocked and confused, Karen Allen.
I loved it! Heartwarming, sexy, sad, cute, funny and it's probably my new favorite Jeff Bridges movie.

Bob the Butler

I started watching as a joke to punish my boyfriend for vetoing the movie I wanted to watch. But we both ended up loving it. Maybe our expectations where so low it made the movie better, I don't know. But it was funny, aw-worthy and cute. Tom Green went legitimate when no one was looking.

Three O'Clock High

Three O'clock High is a funny 80's high school underdog story. So fun!

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3

It's suspenseful and has a great plot, even if it is a remake. I haven't seen the original yet, but after seeing this one, I want to. John Travolta makes an amazing bad guy, very tough once you get past how awful his just-for-men mustache and his lacefront piece are. It has a happy ending and I love that.

Return to Horror High

Oh hello young George Clooney.
I couldn't even tell you what's going on, half way through I was like, 'wait, what?!' It's so cheesy, so dumb and really hits home the fact that you should NEVER ask, "_____, is that you?" Because it never is and that's how you end up dead.

Night Shift
Night Shift(1982)

Picture Risky Business in a morgue. Night Shift is funny and has the best message, everyone is their own pimp.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (Ice Age 3)

It's okay. I love Simon Pegg. It's cute and all computery-pretty to look at. But it's not as good as the first one and it's all just predictable cuteness. If you like the others you'll like this one just as much. If you want to watch a great dinosaur movie made in to a billion sequels, Land Before Time is awesome.. the sequels are not.

Furry Vengeance

First off Brendan Fraser is a big bloated mess now. It's beyond sad. But Brooke Shields is still a babe.
This movie wasn't fun or cute. Totally boring. Even Ken Jeong who plays the perfect crazy Asian dude was still a fail. Just plain awful, the whole movie.

Stomp the Yard

It's better than I thought it would be. It's good. You don't have to be a victim of your circumstances, you just have to find your drive and go for it.

First of all.. this movie has an all-star cast of voices and it's actually pretty cute. I love the plot (killer coffee makers), it's Disney and the guinea pigs are adorable! If you just let it be a kids movie, it's fun.

Where the Wild Things Are

A boy on an island with all the parts of his personality.
I didn't think it was going to be anything other than sad. It did make me cry at the end and I'm a tough cookie. but the movie was cute and just beautiful to watch.

The Last Song

Well, being a girl I'm supposed to be all gooey over Nicholas Sparks' novels-in-to-movies.. but I'm not. This movie wasn't great. Miley is like thee worst actress ever and it was kind of sad. What's the deal with Nicholas killing everyone off?!
Total chick flick, if you enjoy that sort of thing, you'll enjoy this one.

Tron Legacy
Tron Legacy(2010)

Oh wow! I can't believe how good this movie was. It holds true to the original, Sam is 27 (the same age as me), it's beautiful, exciting, sexy and stylish. Jeff Bridges is a deity.. CGI, good guy, bad guy.. it doesn't matter, he's such an awesome actor. This movie truly became one of my favorites.
The soundtrack is epic. Daft Punk did an amazing job. It's so good it adds to the movie and makes you notice it all at the same time.

Only the Lonely

It's a cute movie, with cute actors and a cute plot. The wife, Ally Sheedy was annoying as hell and had more mom-issues than I've ever seen. How anyone couldn't love Maureen O'Hara is beyond me.

Sunshine Cleaning

I didn't know what to think when I started watching it. But I thought it was funny at times and really real at times. The things we do to make a quality of life for ourselves and loved ones. The movie is about life, loss and cleaning up after it. I liked it a lot.

Nothing in Common

Oh Tom Hanks.. I love you, but this movie wasn't funny and I'm not sure it was about anything other than a womanizing man-child dealing with his parents busting up and his dad being ill. I wish it was more than just okay.

Carlito's Way

Not as good as Scarface.. but, really, is any drug&gun movie as good as that one?!
I really wanted Carlito to get out and have an honest life, the ending could have been different. But it was really good and thrilling.. well done mob/thug/crime drama, with a great cast.

The Polar Express

The story of a boy who boards a train to meet the big guy, Santa, himself. He's caught between believing and not. It's such an adventure of excitement and merriment. It's sure to be a holiday classic.
I love Tom Hanks.

The Switch
The Switch(2010)

Another flick where a dude hangs out with a small boy and everyone seems to be okay with it. But not as okay with it when they all find out he's the biological father. Weird. It's cute-ish. The movie I expected to be funnier was more about living with the choices we make.

Dolores Claiborne

Not as good as Misery, but is any Kathy Bates move as good as that one? There's a lot of misery in this movie, everyone seems so unhappy. I wanted it to be more revenge-y, but it' wasn't and it got real, real fast. It's just okay.

The Love Guru

Mike Myers has done it again. He's made another totally pointless, but beyond hysterical movie. As long as you know it's going to be stupid and going for cheap laughs, then you'll have fun. Justin Timberlake is funnier than I thought he would or could be. Jessica Alba still sucks. But it's a good movie about a love guru helping people fix love while he finds it.

Reggie Watts: Why Shit So Crazy?

Reggie Watts is so funny, so clever and so talented. If you ever get the chance to see him live (I saw him when he was out with Conan O'Brien on his Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour) or even on tv.. watch, listen, enjoy, watch, watch, watch! He's hysterical, try not to laugh too loud and pay extra close attention to him because you might miss some of the incredibly random things he says and/or does. YouTube doesn't even do him justice.

Dinner for Schmucks

If only there was a way to un-watch the first stressful, frustrating 45 minutes of it, but by dinner everything was funny and cute.. the movie totally redeemed itself.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I didn't know what to expect other than it was meant to be bad. But in actuality it was really fun, fun to watch. There's magic, romance, revenge, good vs. evil and it's funny. The special effects aren't too bad either. I liked it.

Despicable Me

The best, most fun movie ever. Everything reminds me of something else, maybe that's why I loved it so much. The story is adorable and funny. Steve Carell as Gru is the perfect 'bad guy' and (by the end) dad. Half way through the movie I wanted to stop it, start it over and watch it again. The graphics are entertaining and it's just a good movie. <3

The Devil pays the office a visit. I can't believe how boring this movie was. It was like The Blair Witch Project in an elevator and because it's M. Night Shyamalan someone's wife has to be killed/dead. Don't bother..

P.S. I Love You

Wow, Gerard Butler is such a babe! He's adorable in this movie too. The movie itself is sad-cute-but-mostly-sad. A lot of laughs with some tears. It gives you that false sense of hope that a love like that is out there.. it's a total chick-flick.

This film had been sitting in front of my tv for awhile, I was never in a rush to watch it. But I finally did and I loved it. The band of characters is amazing, it's magical, sweet, romantic and beyond entertaining.

Pretty good as far as gangster Vegas movies go. It's really long but it's raw and bloody with a good ending. A classic.

Phoebe in Wonderland

This wasn't the movie I wanted it to be. It's about a troubled girl who finds her school's production of Alice In Wonderland, which ends up becoming a strain on her sister and her parents. I don't know what the point of it was, it was just a tough movie with not much cute.

The Howling
The Howling(1981)

This was kinda boring. I did like the classic werewolves and the ending and not just because it was the end of the movie.

St. Trinian's

It's an okay romp with a bunch of bad girls trying to do the right thing by doing a very bad thing.

Delightful! Amazing! Cute! Beautiful! A classic story told in the most perfect Disney way. So fun, laugh-out-loud funny, romantic and wonderful. Rapunzel is my new favorite princess.

The Fly
The Fly(1986)

Beyond sad and disgusting.

Serious Moonlight

Meg Ryan gets together with her French Kiss boyfriend, Timothy Hutton. She tapes him to a toilet this time, instead of letting him go to Paris. I loved this movie, not as much as French Kiss, but it's funny, sad, clever and an honest look at marriage.

Wall Street
Wall Street(1987)

I ended up watching this because I wanted to see the newest one with out being lost. I thought the plot was really heavy and the movie was a tad long. It was cast really well, a lot of late 80's top bananas. The moral of the story seems to be.. No one makes any money, those who have it, took it.

Going the Distance

I can't saw enough about this movie. It's funny, cute, sexy, romantic, fun and has a great cast. I love Drew and Justin together. Just see it, you'll love it, I promise.

The Vampire Journals

I guess it's entertaining, it has awful acting, but the guy saves the girl. It's kinda like Interview With The Vampire with out the solid plot.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Full of southern charm and heart. A movie about friendship and how it shapes our lives. It's a classic and so good, but the director's cut is a little long.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

I went to a midnight showing of The Deathly Hallows, very last minute. But I was glad I got to see it early enough to not have to hear what everyone else thought of it first. It was really good. As good as the first one, but in a much darker, scarier and depressing way. It's very sad. They killed off at least 3 'people' and there is 1 very dead ear.
I never read the books, but I enjoy the movies. I can't believe I have to wait months to see the next one or that this next one is the last one. There will be a void left that no other saga can fill and I refuse to think Twilight is any good or will somehow suck me in the way Harry Potter did.
Even if you're not a HP fan, you'll be entertained with all action and magic.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I didn't think it could get worst than the first one.. but it's slow and at best "just okay". It's a whole movie following Bella around on her dumb adventures, her thrill seeking and quest to somehow make Edward come back by hurting herself. She's also so awful to Jacob that I understand how he got a team, out of pity. Now if only someone can explain to me how he turned in to a shirtless wolf boy. I'll probably end up watching the rest of the saga, but I doubt I'll like it.

Don't get me wrong, it's completely lame.. but that's the point. Kristen Stewart is the worst actress ever. There is a mega fun drinking game you can play while watching her though.. every time she licks her lips or rabbit teeth, take a drink. You'll be drunk in 5 minutes. Edward is strange and brooding, but fun sometimes. Jacob doesn't even show up much so how anyone could pick teams is beyond me.
Whatever. It's a teen "vampire" movie where the vampires don't have fangs, don't sleep in coffins, aren't bothered by garlic or crosses, they don't burn up in the sun and they don't drink blood. It's garbage, but if you know that going in, you'll be fine.

The Accidental Husband

There is no other way to describe this movie other than cute. There's a little hiccup in Emma's plan to marry Richard. Turns out she's already married to Patrick because of a computer glitch. It's funny and has its share of romance> you sorta feel bad as it's sorting itself out, but it all works out the way it should.

Leap Year
Leap Year(2010)

On the quest for love everything that can go wrong, will. This movie had a lot of that going on. I thought it was romantic and sweet. Made me want to visit Ireland. If you liked The Matchmaker, you'll enjoy this.

Blade Runner
Blade Runner(1982)

Harrison Ford is a babe.
I tried to follow the plot, but the director's cut is just too long and it made it difficult. The soundtrack is rad. It's futuristic and smart, but are we really meant to believe this is what our world will look like in just 9 years!? 2019 isn't too far off and we don't have flying cars yet.

Dèmoni (Demons)

I can't believe the amount of gore in this movie, there's tons and it's awesome. The gross out factor is high. It's got a zombie feel, which makes it kinda scary. If they so much as look at you, you're a demon too. Love it. The soundtrack is really good too.

Valentine's Day

Full blown cast of Hollywood's 30 something who's who. It was really cute. Awkward for the most part but everything worked out perfectly. I love movies like that.

Kim Cattrall Sexual Intelligence

Cheeky. Talking to a lot of homo/bisexuals and a sexist dude about their sex lives. The history of sex is kinda neat, but I wouldn't say you have to watch a whole cheesy movie about it.

The Secret of Kells

What a beautiful little legend, entertaining and stunning to watch. It's very cute.

Puppet Master

This movie is really boring and kinda confusing. There's some gore, but not nearly enough. In fact there isn't enough of anything. I didn't even find this scary or cringe worthy at all. I'm curious to watch the others, how they made 37 movies off this one pile of cheesy is beyond me, but we'll see.

I didn't know what to think, everyone in this movie was like 100 years old. But I have to admit, they all still got it. Bruce is mighty sexy in this action packed, shoot em up flick. It was smart and funny, really funny and the cast, aside from Mary-Louise was fantastic.

Smiley Face
Smiley Face(2007)

This movie follows the adventures of a girl who had about 8 too many pot cupcakes. Her logic is shot. I thought it was really funny, but frustrating. Burn outs stress me out. But after watching this movie I can see what prop 19 didn't pass, everyone got too high and forgot to vote.

The Last Airbender

It's been awhile since I've seen a movie like this. It was entertaining, lots of action, beautiful, amazing scenes, the graphics where mind blowing and the avatar was cast perfectly.. he's too cute. I thought the movie was really close to the cartoon, aside from everyone's race.. this movie was a melting-pot, but I loved it. I don't care what anyone says about it, I thought it was awesome and I hope they make this in to a saga. M. Night Shyamalan had redeemed himself from The Village and The Happening. Good job!

The Toxic Avenger

Wow, I don't even know where to start with this thing. It's so bad, it's good. 80's to the max. It's really cheesy, there's a lot of gore and who could forget all the boobs with tanlines?! It's weird.

Plan 9 from Outer Space

I don't get it. Using the dead to convince us that aliens are real, wait, what?!

Food, Inc.
Food, Inc.(2009)

Holy Hell, this movie was disturbing and scary. It walks you through how messed up our whole food industry is. Kinda makes you feel helpless. I don't know how we can change anything with out spending what little money we have on local and organic food. I guess until everyone is local or organic the prices for these things aren't going to get competitive. Change doesn't come cheap, but it has to come.

The Ramen Girl

First of all I'd like to say I never cared much for Brittany Murphy after she lost all her weight and put it in her lips. But it was sad watching this movie knowing that she's dead.
Anyway, this movie was really cute and a romantic fish out of water story. Noodles bring people together.

Mirrors had some good gore and a fun plot, but I hated the ending.

Sex and the City 2

Ohhhkay. This movie was really long, stressful, everyone cheats on everyone and some how it's fine, let's just stay together. Samantha is way too much, Carrie just goes around ruining everything and when did Big/John turn in to Aidan?! Two hours long and the movie ends right where it starts. So pointless, but at least it wasn't as bad as the 1st one.

Lost Boys: The Thirst

This movie was way better than The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe but not as good at the original, The Lost Boys. They had a lot of scenes from the first one and the theme song, Cry Little Sister. It was actually pretty good. Sad in a way, it made me miss Corey Haim.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

This whole movie is an awkward, drunken fight between two married people and their newly married guest hostages. I guess the acting was pretty good, I really did believe these people are awful.. but I still didn't like the movie and it was pretty long.

Killer at Large: Why Obesity Is America's Greatest Threat

Reality check! We're all fat. We eat too much and it's because it's cheap, easy and the government is getting paid to keep all of it legal. We need to give up our dependence on sugar and fats, exercise more and stress less. This film had a lot of information, but I wouldn't say it's a "great movie".

The Pick-Up Artist

Your typical Boy Meet Girl.. girl sleep with boy then ditches boy, boy tries to get girl back by stalking girl and paying girl's father's gambling debts. Cute.

Murder by Death

If you liked Clue or It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World you'll like this one. I only ended up seeing it because it shares its name with my favorite band (if you've never heard Murder By Death, you should) was just okay and I think I'll always like Clue better.

Killer Klowns from Outer Space

This movie is about alien clowns here from space to harvest people in cotton candy cocoons. It's an 80's cult classic, fun and who doesn't like clowns as killers?!

Jonah Hex
Jonah Hex(2010)

First of all, this whole damn world is coo coo for comic books. It's more than a little annoying. I don't know anything about Jonah Hex as a comic or about who directed/wrote what. So this movie had a fair shot.. no preconceived ideas about it. It got to be its own thing.
I thought Megan fox was beyond beautiful. There's good explosions and action. The story is a good one, kinda revenge-by-a-bad-ass and it's entertaining. Everyone knows I like sh*t movies, but I'm not even sure this was that bad of a movie. Just give it a chance, you'll find it's alright.

My Blue Heaven

Rick Moranis AND Steve Martin, how was I not going to like it?! It's funny, of course and cute. Steve as Vinny is a total crack up. My Blue heaven is just a happy little mafia movie and romcom all in one.

I love Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn, I think I always say that, but I loved the cast. Anyway, this movie so so cute, so funny, so charming and a bit romantic. It's just entertaining from start to finish.

Get Him to the Greek

I'm pretty sure this is going to be the funniest movie of 2010.. forget The Hangover. This is better!
I loved Forgetting Sarah Marshall so when I found out there was spin-off I had to see it. The whole story is amazing and funny. The cast was hysterical and this has the best Vegas scene since Fear And Loathing. So good!!

O' Horten
O' Horten(2007)

I thought it would be a funny little story about a guy having a hard time settling in to retirement. But not so much. It wasn't funny, aside from one scene with an adorable little boy and for the most part it was boring. It had the potential, it just let me down in a really slow, painful way.

The Man with Two Brains

I'm starting to have a whole new level of love for Steve Martin, so I've been watching his movies more lately. I just watched this one and I thought it was such a good idea and so fun. It's funny and romantic. The evil broad gets hers. The science is good and the inner zombie in you will be saying "braaaaains" though the whole thing.

Eight Legged Freaks

God awful. Who doesn't like giant spiders as the adversary.. too bad this movie was boring, the graphics are terrible and I get that it's supposed to be "cheap", but damn.. the story isn't even good. I liked the cast, but it wasn't good enough to ever make me watch this again.

Fletch/Chevy Chase is taking down the bad guys with his brand of cheese and wit. It's funny.

Fright Night
Fright Night(1985)

Awesome! It's just about perfect in all its 80's glory. It's cheesy, gory, fun and it has real vampires that hate crosses, sleep during the day, have fangs and feed on pretty-ish girls. I was in to it.

Year One
Year One(2009)

A little history. I hate Jack Black ..or so I thought. I keep punishing him for School Of Rock, but I actually like just about all his other movies.
Anyway, this movie was surprising, I liked it. It was funny, had a fun cast and I dug the story of these two cavemen wondering around and seeing other cultures. It's a good time.

The Haunting in Connecticut

I didn't know what to expect, maybe another crappy Amityville Horror. But it was actually really good. Spooky, gross, disturbing, had mystery and some heart. I may have nightmares, but it was worth it.

Well... I liked Hit Girl and Big Daddy. I could have done with out Kick-Ass. It's kinda hard to forget the drama surrounding the Aaron Johnson when you're watching the movie. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it. It's kinda gross. Anyway, the violence is good, lots of blood. I don't know why they made this movie, I hear the comic is much better and he doesn't get the girl at the end. I miss good super hero movies, like Iron Man. This movie was more like Spider-Man which is getting a "reboot". Thank god for the weapons and gore.

This film was gripping and had me at the edge of my seat. You won't be able to stop watching. You'll be asking yourself, "Is this guy really getting away with murdering his wife?" There are so many twist and turns. It's a smartly cast suspense murder mystery.

The Other Guys

What you think it's going to be it is.. a little bit stupid, mostly funny as hell and has one liners that will have you in tears. Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg together are hysterical. It's just so damn funny!

Alien Resurrection

The best one of the whole collection. Jean-Pierre Jeunet just worked it. Tons of action. Scarier alien. More gore and goop everywhere. Winona is adorable and who doesn't like Ron Perlman?! This one is just more of everything and super fun Sci-Fi.

The best one so far. More blood because they don't have any guns what so ever. The alien is CGI, I liked the puppets better. This one was more exciting and fun.. anytime you throw some sex starved prisoners in with aliens and a rad chick who can't be killed you have gold.

It's better than the first one. Much more action. I guess the aliens don't have acid blood anymore and they took out the guns, which was needed. If I'm going to sit though this kind of Sci-Fi crap, I need explosions and guns.

I thought it was really boring. Not enough action at all. The cast is pretty annoying. I never understood the future or space stuff when it was done in the 80's. I've seen so many clips from this movie on tv, it was like I'd see the move already.
1 alien.. acid blood.

The Untouchables

Such a great story, great cast, great (over) acting. The music is weird, but it's the 80's and the dialog is a bit off too. The suits and wardrobe is beautiful.. that's Armani for you. The film is pretty bad ass and teaches you the meaning of "team work", I loved it and I think I have a crush on Kevin Costner now.

The Sopranos on steroids. It's Bloody and tough, the acting is so believable. There are drugs, money, guns, bodies in trunks and mafia style bad-assery.. it has it all. If only it was an hour shorter. It's a long one.

Word to the wise.. be careful who you laugh at, they may go to great lengths to hear that laugh again. The was one of the better horror films I've seen lately. A clown-and-mouse game. It's creepy, psychological, gross and it has some mental torture with the best ending ever. Loved it!

Imagine That
Imagine That(2009)

There aren't too many movies with Eddie Murphy that I don't like and I really like the movies with him and kids. Daddy Day Care = awesome.
Anyway, this movie was adorable. You really hate Eddie in the beginning, he's so selfish and business minded. But when his daughter's blanket gives him stock tips, he starts to open up. I thought it was cute and funny. Yara Shahidi is so cute, I want to squeeze her to death.

I'll just break it down: weird, funny, hookers, hard core body exploding drugs, science, pimps, tits and ass. Camp at its best.

Stephen King's It

The Goonies meet a child eating clown. Creepy, bloody, fun. I don't understand the ending, but who cares.. the rest of it was good enough.

If you don't have time to feel like you've been watching a movie for hours and hours, this isn't for you. It took a really long time to build up. But it's pretty crazy in the Hitchcock way, it has you wondering what will happen through the whole thing. You think you know, but it twists and you're lost again. It was good, but slow.

Martian Child

This movie was soooooo cute. The kind of cute that has you in tears by the end of it. The acting was great and John Cusack is so warm.
From tragic roots these two guys find each other to form this odd couple. I really liked it. Makes me want to watch all man-finds-young-boy-to-befriend movies.. wait, maybe not all of them.

Did You Hear About the Morgans?

Just another fish-out-of-water story with two people who can't stand each other forced to be together. Fighters to lovers. It's cute and fun.. happy ending. I dug it, but then again, I like all romantic comedies.

Meet the Robinsons

There is no doubt that Disney is magic. If you don't believe me, watch this movie. It's one of my all time favorites. The story is solid, funny, heartwarming and clever. There aren't any holes in the plot, everything is cleared up from in that special Disney way. It's amazing! And the Walt Disney quote at the end has me in tears every single time. I love this movie and can watch it over and over again.

Kung Fu Panda

I pretty much dislike Jack black AND Angelina Jolie.. so I never ending up seeing this movie till now. But I loved it!! It's cute and that was all anyone could tell me about the movie when I asked if it was lame. "It's cute, It's cute." It is.. but it's also fun, pretty to look at and the message is a good one. I just started with my personal trainer when I watched it.. so I experienced this movie in a whole new way, I felt Po's pain. This is just a really great movie.. for everyone!

Presumed Innocent

I have to start this off by saying I LOVE HARRISON FORD! It's rare that he's in a movie I don't like. With that said, I'm going to go ahead and say I liked this movie too. It had twists, sex, dirty politicians, affairs and amazing acting. I loved the ending.

Micmacs (Micmacs à tire-larigot)

This was the most amazing movie I've seen in awhile. It was really good. All the charm of Amelie. I don't want to be one of those people who keeps referring to Amelie, like it's Jean-Pierre's best movie, but it is and I would have said it was till I saw this. It has a great story and it's told in a really wonderful way.
I wish there were real Micmacs (not the tribe of native americans, because we already have those) doing good things in the world by getting the "bad" guys. I just loved this movie so so so much.

The Haunting of Molly Hartley

I almost didn't watch it, the first 5 minutes were pretty boring and strange. But then it got nutty real fast. It held me at the edge of my bed till the end wondering what's going on, who's insane, what's real?! It's creepy, religious, fun and it has Chace Crawford in it. Plus, not one, but two girls from 90210. Awesome!

The Crush meets Hand That Rocks The Cradle. It has the worst acting ever in it, but it's a total Lifetime movie, which I sorta love. There is no way the husband is that in to Beyonce and her bleach blonde eyebrows. Even I would bang Ali Larter.

In Bruges
In Bruges(2008)

I don't even know. I hated it. I wanted it to be funny, didn't the trailer make it seem like it would be funny.. a dark comedy, maybe?! It was boring. It had gore and brains all over the place. I could have done with out this movie.

The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

What can I say about this movie that's new and you didn't get from the trailer? It's funny, silly, a good time, has a great cast and the 1-liners are fantastic. Anchorman-ish, in the sense that you may not love it the first time you watch it, but the more you think about it and quote the movie, the more you'll like it.
The cameo was amazing!!

Wow. What a clever/great idea for a vampire flick. It's not just another vampire movie, that's for sure. There's so much blood, gore and many creeps. I wish there was more of the crazy blood thirsty vampires, so I hope they make another one. More zombie vampires!! I loved the movie, it was a good ride and Willem Defore is awesome! There is a lot more blood and blood drinking in this movie, more so than any other, I thought.

I thought there could be hidden messages in the movie.. yes to indoor tanning, maybe blood is oil and there's a shortage. I don't know.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

I love this movie, it's entertaining. If you just let it be its own thing, it's wonderful. Tim Burton does an amazing job at putting his twist on a classic. It's creepy, visual, clever. I hate the Oompa Loompas more in this film, but Charlie is better than that pouty mess from the first one. This movie is easy to watch over and over again.

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

If you can get past the semi awful acting, it's an awesome movie. I love the story/plot, but it's not as good a movie as the firsts one. The ending is pretty bad ass though and as long as they keep making these movies, I'll watch them.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Well, where to start?! They went and killed off the only good actress first. I hated that Freddy was an actual pedophile, that was gross. He isn't scary, his make up is shit. He doesn't look burned, he looks mauled by apes. It is bloody and as far as remakes go, it wasn't unwatchable. But it wasn't good either.

The Promotion

I wanted this movie to be so much more than what it was. I felt like it was a wasted cast. It was a boring Step Brothers with out Will Ferrell. The whole movie is beyond frustrating, but it had a happy ending. I don't know. It was just okay.

Pan's Labyrinth

Inglourious Basterds meets Alice In Wonderland. I thought it was amazing. Beautiful. Suspenseful. Everything you'd want a movie to be. It was kinda sad and the villain, Vidal was very evil. I don't know what took me so long to see it. I'm glad I did. I didn't even notice it was it wasn't in english after awhile, I was in to it, watching and reading.

The end is near..
If you're talking about the world, you may be right.. about the movie, not so much. This was the longest movie ever. It's unbelievable and unbelievably long. I thought it was good for an armageddon type film. The CGI was alright, being from California and watching it slide in to the ocean was freaky. I love John Cusack (long standing crush) and I love him even more knowing he can out run, out drive, out fly, out swim any natural disaster. It's a good movie, just a little stressful.

ps: There is always a movie in an actor's career where you know the "character" isn't really a character, but, in fact how they are in real life. This is Wood Harrelson's. Just like Conspiracy Theory is Mel Gibson's.

The Book of Eli

It's just okay. It's rare that I don't have anything to say, but this movie left me kinda speechless. But not in a good way. "meh" is the only word that comes to mind.
I guess I would say it's good if you like that post-apocalyptic thing where a guy is dragging around a bible that Gary Oldman wants it to control the masses and everyone's thirsty. It has a twist, you don't 'see' it coming.. but once it happens, you're like, "yeah right!"

Clash of the Titans

Oh wow. So I know this movie got a hot of heat for being a sad remake of a classic. But I tend to love those. I thought this movie was exciting, visually stunning and I loved the styling (yeah I'm talking about hair). I loved it, half way through it I wanted to stop it and start it over again. They cast this perfectly and it was fun, it's not boring at all.

New In Town
New In Town(2009)

It's a fish out of water story where the fish falls in love with the town and Harry Connick Jr. It was very cute.

It's Complicated

I loved it. Of course I would. I thought it was a real, real funny and really good. It had a great cast and it was a what-if done in honest, clever way. It was a little long, but it was fun the whole time. Yay Steve Martin!

This is what happens when James Bond takes a wife and tries to live a normal life. Some parts were kinda brutal, it was cute and funny. Ashton and Katherine made a cute couple. But really, it was just a standard romantic comedy where our hero says all the right things while killing the bad guys.

The Fourth Kind

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's spooky or scary. But I would say, if you actually believe in aliens and abductions, this is for you. It was Blair Witch Project with aliens. Kinda dull.

Harvie Krumpet

It was well done in the gray scale. I love the narration. It's a very depressing story about Harvie, who can't have a single good thing happen to him. But it was funny.

Cool as Ice
Cool as Ice(1991)

Oh man was this bad, but it was bad in that 90's way. The acting is the worst I've seen in a long time. Just awful. I'm not going to lie, it brought back my long standing 1st grade crush on Vanilla Ice.

My Life in Ruins

Romance is all over the ruins of Greece in the little romcom. I loved the whole thing. I cried, laughed and had a smile on my face. It made me want to visit Greece and take a bus tour. If you like Under The Tuscan Sun and My Big Fat Greek Wedding, this movie is so for you. It's so cute and charming.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

This movie is kind of a fake it till you make it and put it all on plastic. I loved every darling, cute, clever, funny, romantic part of it.

Awful! This movie made me hate everything and everyone. It's an everything-goes-wrong kind of film, but not done in the funny Jewish way. Stiller, Allen and Seinfeld have perfected it. Judge fails. I did/do love Office Space though.

The Crazies
The Crazies(2010)

Living in the middle of nowhere just got worse.
This movie was beyond boring. I wanted it to be creepy, gross or scary.. but it wasn't anything but another zombie type flick with out any zombies. I am all for the no-one-makes-it-out-alive plot, but this wasn't even fun.

Michael Clayton

Really, really good ..if you can get past the first kinda slow, mostly boring first hour. The storyline is very deep, maybe a little too deep for a two hour movie. But I liked it, George is an amazing janitor.

The Proposal
The Proposal(2009)

I love Betty White.
I just expected this movie to be cute and funny due to the relationship between the two leads. I was surprised. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. It was a hate-each-other-till-you-date-each-other movie, like You've Got Mail. Adorable and funny!
ps: Sandra and Ryan have a lot of chemistry. A believable romance!

super trippy. bloody. sexy and it has a happy ending. mmmm, gerard!

Sex and Death 101

weird. not that funny, just sorta of meh. it was a good idea done in that horrible indie film way.

The Unborn
The Unborn(2009)

I'm giving it one star because I was able to make fun of it through the entire thing.
It was awful. Completely predictable and not the least bit scary, startle-y, creepy or gross. It's the story of an evil demon named Jumby (not Jambi from Pee Wee's Playhouse) harassing a poor girl who's dad goes out of town at just the right time. This demon has no motive, but he must be exorcised by Gary Oldman (I don't know why he agreed to be in this filth)! Laaaaaame!

The Bounty Hunter

This is an Alexis movie if ever there was one. Sexy, likable cast, funny, exciting, clever little romcom with dirty cops and a happy ending. I loved it.

Grown Ups
Grown Ups(2010)

One star for David Spade and the other for Steve Buscemi! The whole move was full of fake, forced laughs after some lame joke. I felt like everyone was doing a shtick. Oh and Salma Hayek is way too skinny, what happened to the hot curves she had in From Dusk Till Dawn?

Jennifer's Body

A very unusual girl power chick flick. Megan Fox is a total babe and she goes around giving boys exactly what they deserve as a whole. Beware of BFF's with box cutters.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

A fantastic book by Roald Dahl made in to a fantastic movie by Wes Anderson. I thought it was genius, funny and the soundtrack is great. It's just so cute I teared up at the end.

It's the story of a man obsessed with making a good movie no matter what and the women who come in and out of his life. Memories.
I liked it, but it wasn't as good as Chicago. The costumes where lovely, it's a beautiful drama, great songs. The cast was incredible. It's worth a watch.

Date Night
Date Night(2010)

I never heard anything about this movie so i didn't expect too much. But i loved it. It was hilarious, exciting, clever and a dose of reality through ridiculous events. Tina fey and Steve Carell were a perfect match. i feel like watching it over and over again.

Drag Me to Hell

I watched this movie in the middle of the afternoon and it still startled the snot out of me. It's so creepy, gross and has a scary as hell old lady all over it! I thought it was really good and there was a lesson to be learned in all of it.. be kind to others or they will curse your buttons!

Steel Magnolias

I had no idea what this movie was about, it had been quoted and talked about so much in front of me that i never thought i would have to see it. But i watched it.. heart warming and heart breaking all at the same time. Funny and charming. All star cast and I couldn't love Dolly Parton any more if i tried!

Paul Blart: Mall Cop

Ugh. It was a whole lot of fat guy falling down "laughs". But i didn't even laugh once. i wanted to think it was good, but it was mostly just boring.

A super cute Once Upon A Time romcom flick with a happy ending. It's lovely and fun.

The Losers
The Losers(2010)

Alrighty, well... it was a shoot-em-up boy's flick. Kinda ridiculous with the amount of slow motion shots and group discussions of if they were going to do the thing or not do the thing. It was boring and no blood anywhere. But it was "cool".

Hot Tub Time Machine

Raunchy, hysterical and nostalgic! This movie was too much on so many levels. I laughed through the whole thing. Rob Corddry owned it! I dare you to watch this movie and not laugh and not end up quoting it later.. it will make you miss the 80's a little too.

Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3(2010)

They've gone and done it again. All the magic of the first two is there, only I found this one to be really heavy and kinda sad. I mean there was two parts that had the tears welling up. It's a lovable family movie. Just bring the tissues.

Repo! The Genetic Opera

It's not bad.. but it's not good either. Some of the songs were kinda cool and the whole thing looks creepy and futuristic. It's worth a watch if you're in to that steampunk, goth thing.

It's old stories come to life. It was fun, exciting, super cute and I totally wanted to cry at the end. I loved it. Paul Bettany takes his shirt off... again. Yay!

Surfer, Dude
Surfer, Dude(2008)

It's a pretty alright summer movie. One of those 'do what you love and the rest will fall in to place' films. I can dig it and I can't get enough of the surfer vibe ever since i saw POINT BREAK LIVE.

There Will Be Blood

Daniel Day-Lewis plays such an asshole. There are some great quotes. It's just so long. It's a good film about God vs. Greed.. or maybe they were one in the same.

Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror (Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens) (Nosferatu the Vampire)

i liked it. it was probably pretty high tech for its time. as far as vampire movies go i don't like it as much a Bram Stoker's Dracula or The Lost Boys.

no one ever said i liked good movies.. i liked this movie. but just liked it, not loved. it's a good enough angel vs. angel-good vs. evil-old lady vs. shotgun-end of the world movie. it helps Paul Bettany is a stud.

Astro Boy (AstroBoy)

"..just okay" seems to be what i hear and it's how i feel about it too. it's not really for kids. death, evil dads, war.. it's not like disney's robots (which is such a good movie). it's mostly depressing.

Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2(2010)

i saw it at midnight opening day in imax. amazing!! this was the first time i realized robert downey jr was a babe and scarlett johansson can't act for shit, but she's hot-ish. i thought this movie took a long time to the big action fight and it was over really fast. i didn't really understand why mickey rourke was always walking away from explosions, that was odd. whatever. i loved it!

Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant

i thought it was so good. very visual. i hope they make a second one.. it's a good plot. why not run with it?

How to Train Your Dragon

cute, funny, warm, so pretty to watch and the dragons were adorable to the max! oh and the sexy voice of Gerard Butler is all over the place.

Old Dogs
Old Dogs(2009)

okay, i know i like "bad" movies. but i can safely say i didn't care too much about this one. i thought Wild Hogs was better. but this one had some parts where i laughed till i had actual tears. it was pretty heart warming too. i wouldn't say don't watch it, but if you should find yourself with it on, you won't hate it.

Planet 51
Planet 51(2009)

so cute and funny. charming 50's look. heart warming and sweet.. totally for kids, but i loved every second of it.

Lord Of The Rings + Star Wars + Legend + Willow = this pretty good for '81 but mostly annoying movie.

Road House
Road House(1989)

it was pretty b.a. (bad ass). a lot of ass kicking, tits and Swayze shutting it down. too bad that town couldn't rally sooner.

Cop Out
Cop Out(2010)

eh. well it wasn't as funny as i thought it would be. it could have been so much more, seemed to me like a total half-assed effort. Tracy Morgan was funny... but Seann W. Scott was hysterical. all in all, not bad.. but not good either.

She's Out of My League

boring! same ol' shit. some self indulgent writer wrote the whole script so he could live out some nerd fantasy of "getting the girl of your dreams". total garbage and not even funny. i only gave it one star for a pretty cute disney reference.

amazing, amazing, amazing! i love every second of this movie. it's brilliant, smart, super sexy guy and full frontal. maybe one of my most favorite movies.. ever!

Four Christmases

hysterical... i love christmas movies.

Alice in Wonderland

i loved it. forget what you know about the Disney animated feature or carroll's book. it's so beautiful and has such whimsy. the costumes were so amazing, the cast was great and the scenes were wonderful. out of this world and right in theirs. stunning, tim burton.

War, Inc.
War, Inc.(2008)

it was Grosse Point with out the plot.

How to Lose Friends & Alienate People

pretty cute little romcom, kinda funny, a classic 'grass is greener' type of movie. i loved the cast. megan fox is such a babe and simon pegg is so fun!

Thank You for Smoking

i thought it was clever, smart, witty, good, funny.. not ha-ha funny, but hum-makes-you-think.

The Invention of Lying

it was good. but not great. it wasn't as funny as i wanted it to be. but it was a clever idea.. it just never ended.

Land of the Lost

funny!! i loved it. i didn't go in expecting it to be anything other than dumb and a good time with cheap laughs. it didn't disappoint.. will ferrell can do no wrong.

Monsters vs. Aliens

i love movies that show bay area landmarks. it was cute, funny and all the characters are just so darn lovable.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

it's so funny, beautiful, heart warming, good family fun. the only down side to this movie is.. it makes you want a monkey and hungry as hell watching it. worse than watching the food network.

Law Abiding Citizen

i liked it.. i took away a star and 1/2 for the ending though. it goes way beyond any vigilante movie i've ever seen. so brutal. gerard butler is such a babe and i was happy to see josh stewart in something since dirt.

Sherlock Holmes

i love guy ritchie.. his movies are so stylized, fun and have quirky plots. this movie was no different. i liked it a lot! the cast wasn't hard to look at either.

Couples Retreat

super funny, i love vince vaughn.. i want to go on vacation to some place tropical!

really good, long, but good. had a great cast.. just an all around awesome shoot em up-bad ass-heist-boy movie.

Monty Python's The Meaning of Life

oh god. it wasn't as funny at HOLY GRAIL, but it had one or two laughs. it was more like, the meaning of boredom!

this movie was so long, it was made even longer with the slow motion music videos. i hated the slutty girl with bangs.. but i guess that was her special power. i was also a little bummed about how all the bad ass people get killed off. i don't really know what this movie was about, i may have to watch it again. but i liked it.

i thought it was just kinda meh. i loved, loved, loved the cameo by bill murray!

The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

it's a christmas carol with ex-girlfriends. kinda cute.

Youth in Revolt

i thought it was amazing.. one of the best movies i've seen in awhile. it was funny, smart, had a great cast and not since tyler durden in fight club has there been a dual personality that's just so damn cool.

District 9
District 9(2009)

this movie was much too sad for me. but i do hope they make a second one, like 'd10' or something so they can clear up that icky feeling i was left with.

All About Steve

this movie found me when i was kinda mopey and made my day.. it's hysterical, cute and not your typical romcom about a bad blind date. it doesn't hurt that bradley cooper is nice to look at ether. i loved it!

Max Payne
Max Payne(2008)

revenge is best served by mark wahlberg! it took a hour, but damn did it get pretty bad ass.

The Spiderwick Chronicles

it was a touching and magical family flick with some pretty scary parts.. ogres are frightening.

The Spirit
The Spirit(2008)

i LOVED it! funny, action-y and there were good looking people all over the place. it's just like Batman and Dick Tracy got together and had a baby. such a fun movie!

Repo Man
Repo Man(1984)

it's like Back To the Future meets Cocoon. it's from the 80's and kinda weird (just like me) i thought it was okay. emmmmmmilio!

Over Her Dead Body

it's a cute little romcom with a few laughs.

The Day of the Jackal

this movie is 2 1/2 hours long.. i fell a sleep a handful of times and there's no music in the whole thing. it's very boring and very long. i like the "remake" with bruce willis called The Jackal much better.

Switchblade Sisters

such a great movie from the 70's about wayward girls running around being hoodlums! classic one-liners all over the place.

There's Something About Mary

i love this movie for some reason. i could watch it everyday and i did.. in high school. i would come home, sit in front of my space heater and watch this movie over and over again. i'm pretty sure my parents thought i had some undiagnosed brain damage.

Married Life
Married Life(2008)

it's odd the lengths someone will go to, to not hurt someone they love/loved. i really liked it. i couldn't stop watching it, very suspenseful. you can't help but feel like at any moment someone is going to be murdered. it's dark, but very true to life.. everyone's been in a relationship like these depicted in this movie.

this movie was really slow and i'm not really sure it was about anything. i love all the actors and the score. but you can't like a whole movie just because you like some songs and ed harris. there weren't nearly as many shoot outs and rides off in to the sunset as i thought there should be for a western.. and ed harris' character is way too badass to be putting up with so much slutty-duddy shit from his lady, renee zellweger's character.

The Hangover
The Hangover(2009)

i can't believe how funny this movie was. they couldn't have picked a better cast to play the characters in this off the wall-crazy-drug filled-vegas adventure flick. i loooove zach galifianakis, he may have been the best part of the whole movie.

Inglourious Basterds

one of quentin tarantino's best films. it has everything. this may be one of my favorite movies of all time actually. it has hitchcock type suspense, incredible story and amazing actors.. you will hate that you love the "bad guy". i love it!

Factory Girl
Factory Girl(2007)

this move is about the life of edie sedgwick, andy warhol's muse. poor little rich girl.. she lived hard and fast. then just like that she was gone at 28 years old. it was good movie, but heartbreaking.

Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian

it's a good movie, fun. i just didn't think it was as good as the first one. the first one had a great plot. this one was all your favorite characters battling one villain instead of making ben stiller's life miserable and amy adams is kinda annoying. anyway, its worth a rent.. you can even wait till it's on tv.

Some Like It Hot

.this is by far and away my most favorite movie. the humor in it is still relevant today.. probably because it was ahead of its time back then. i promise it's funny!

Disney's A Christmas Carol

there are some really scary parts, not for kids under 10 or for the under 10 trapped in the body of a 20 something year old girl!

really good.. but it had me crying in the first 10 minutes!
ps: never meet your heroes.
