This is the kind of movie that really makes you wonder at the very world we live in. Its special effects are amazing for its time and the plot is pretty good. This is one of my favorite movies, its the kind of movie that's in the back of your head that you compared every other sci-fi movie you see to. The Matrix is a must see classic.

Inception was a good movie, although my mind was not blown the movie fully entertained me to the end, definitely not one of Nolan's best

Children of Men

I don't think I need to explain anything, easily one of the best movies of our time.

Requiem for a Dream

This haunting film is the definition of artistic movie making. It throws you into the life of two drug addicts and puts you through the horrible things they had to go through. The movie will stick with you for a very long time. Emotion and regret fills this film to the brim, there's really no other movie like it.

Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver (1976)

Ok I'm confused did I see the same movie as everyone else? I think I'm going to have to see this again. Regardless of when it was made, and whether or not it was a great movie, for it's time, this movie was awful. The acting wasn't good and not to mention the camera work was bewildering and just awful. The movie, from the beginning, made little sense, it was hard to follow when you were focusing on how shitty the movie really was. I didn't quite understand why they made Travis such a stupid mess of a character. This movie is considered a thriller? I took no thrill in watching this film. Someone else might say "Well it was a great movie for its time", and I would have to say to them "Have you seen The Godfather? That was a great movie for the 70s, but Taxi Driver was not. Taxi Driver was nothing compared to to the Godfather, when I look at both movies I can easily say that Taxi Driver did nothing for film making of its time". I did not enjoy Taxi Driver in any way.
