i thought this was boring and it was pretty much the same movie as the original plus and minus a few details. there's no point in remaking something unless there are going to be at least some kind of radical change, deeper than using better cameras and subbing in jeff bridges for john wayne. would have liked to see the coen brothers' magic which I sadly could not find in this film.

absolutely beautiful, with incredible and impressive performances from portman and kunis, but like every other aronofsky movie... i am perfectly content with one viewing. this was certainly a nail-bitter and way more gruesome than i had anticipated, with intensity packed in everywhere! it would have maybe been nice if the camera took a break from portman for at least one scene

if you smoke a lot of pot and are between the ages of 13-20, than this will undoubtedly be a movie you will watch over and over and over again, continuously laughing. however once you tuck away the bong, it's pretty damn stupid. gotta appreciate this art though for what it is and have respect for the jokes and the talented comedians behind them.

Inception (2010)

looked awesome in imax and had an interesting plot. i don't see what all the fuss is about though; i wouldn't buy this one on dvd or even care to watch it again for that matter.

The Fighter

loved loved everything about this movie. this is the best acting i've seen in awhile. the fighter features authentic characters, locations, accents, and an amazing cast who bring to life this rather turbulent journey of one man's rise to the top for himself and those that are a part of his life. christian bale is just fantastic, amazing, ridiculous, better win the oscar! the camera work is great, and the shots are further aided by an incredible soundtrack. best movie of the holiday season by far!
