Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2

Movie was awesome, even though it deviates from many points (however small) that are in the book...
Its a lot more of an action film and in parts i find it startling that this series started out as family films as some scenes are quite graphic.
Just a brilliant movie and a great end to the franchise

The Strangers

This film scared the crap out of me and will do I'm sure for many silent nights ahead of me. The slow pace and deliberate silent points were eerie and effective making the screams of terror from liv even more astonishing and the characters in mask even more terrifying.
It all built and built and built to a climax that was maybe a little anti climatic but I definitely won't be forgetting this film for a while...

Sucker Punch
Sucker Punch(2011)

I don't think it's half as bad as what people are saying. I think firstly the film definitely LOOKS amazing. The landscapes and fight scenes are as vivid and colourful as promised. The storyline is good as well I think. One girl escaping into her own world every time she dances and the events in that world reciprocating what happens in the real world. Some of the acting and timing was a bit off with the main character not being half as interesting as people like rocket and sweet pea. But it was one of those films that when things go drastically wrong (and they do) you want to go in there and get rid of those little things that make them go wrong (well I did anyway).
I liked this film and if you're just wanting to see it for a visual show you definitely won't be disapointed.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

I liked it!
I mean at some points all the betraying and bargaining got really confusing and it could done without to be fair. But it had a great storyline (minus the before mentioned betraying etc.) The visual effects were stunning and it was altogether very entertaining!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1

Loved this film. The film was emotionally driven and fast paced and in the right places---loved the Malfoy manor scenes, the broomstick chase and the forest chase. Some scenes seemed rushed over and some were completely emitted but now that the bad points are out of the way, just a great film with an amazing ending that left me begging for more! Potter fans won't be disapointed!

Let the Right One In

Just..just perfect. No gimmicks a brilliant movie just by having a great realistic story.

The Last House on the Left

Seriously...I mean...really. 10% for the torture scenes as they were unwatchably horrific (the effect intended) but when the parents found the girl they looked at her for 5 seconds sobbed a bit and then went "ah well thats enough of that grieving lark". He went off to make home alone traps while she goes and seduces the grey one. There was no sort of transition from parents to murders (if that makes sense). I didn't find any it scary or tense at all and it astonishes me that it got higher ratings than the re-make. One of the few good re-makes yes but a good film on its own standards.
