Rating History

Kingsman: The Golden Circle
2 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Ever stylish Kingsman is one of the best installments of the year. Though it is lacking its predecessor's explosives, it still feels like an honest coming home.

It (2017)
2 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

It movie: white kids seeing things. And a black kid tags along... for some reason. "It" piggybacks from current mainstream trends but, hey, at least now Skarsgård and Wolfhard can move on to better if not bigger roles.

Spider-Man: Homecoming
4 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Fully embracing its high school charm and completely unbothered by the Marc Webb era, MCU's Spider-Man Homecoming is self-inspired while being too referential on more iconic moments to the point of dependency. But, hey, at least it's not Ant-Man.

Michael Keaton and Marshall Logan-Green also play forgettable villains and there's another fat best friend trope, so minus points for that.

Dunkirk (2017)
4 months ago via Rotten Tomatoes

More slideshow than storytelling. This is Zimmer's playground, a visceral, visual and auditory masterpiece made better with its shortness.

Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman (2017)

Gadot and Pine manage to shine in a grayscale world that thankfully wasn't on full-on Snyder. Patty Jenkins deserves all the credits.
