Very solid first season. Enough thrills, lore, and entertainment to fulfill the promises of the genre. We'll see if there is enough material to sustain longer shelf-life for future seasons.
So far, so good. The pilot was spot on. The show is not groundbreaking television, but a step up from the typical CW fare. Well acted, light in tone, and just the right amount of emotion. It definitely has a leg up on Gotham over at Fox which is still trying to find its footing.
The show started out with charm and promise, mainly due to the charm provide by Zooey Deschanel. But the changing of the cast and the simple minded jokes quickly got old. They lost me after a handful of episodes.
It's not outright bad, but Agents of Shield brings nothing new to the table. I expected a lot more from Marvel considering their success on big screen. The show is amateurish and contrived.
The first season of AHS brings the unique, creep factor to tv that is nowhere else to be found. Great use of the house as it really becomes another character as opposed to just a setting. The show takes a weird and unwelcome direction towards the end of the season, but overall it's a great debut for an original concept.
The seasons started off great, but then lost me halfway through. It always feels like the writers change everything up as the production goes along, and the story arcs never seemed fleshed out from the get-go. I like twists and turns in any production, but here it feels forced and disingenuous.
Probably the best season to date. The characters were great. The introduction of new cast members is a welcome change. Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates join the strength of Jessica Lange to have some wicked, fun times here. The season veers a bit towards the end, but still fits well with the story line
A little bit of a slow start, but gets in full gear towards the second half of the season and back on track.
The show is starting to show wear and tear, but still fun entertainment.
Great soapy fun. Madeline Stowe is a delight.
Feels like Revenged has jumped the shark. It seems that the stories are just going in circles now and bringing in character we know or care little about. I'll give it sometime, but this show seems to be on its last leg
Amazing once again. This is the best show on tv. Entertaining and unpredictable at every turn.
It's somewhat uneven, but I am willing to give it a shot. Sometime the screenplay is silly, but there is potential here. The story feels rushed in the pilot and a dumbed-down, comparable to CW shows, but I am hoping it can overcome the shaky start because there is enough here to make a decent show
One of my all tame favorites. The storyline, the acting, the cast, the tone - all pitch perfect
Still one of the best things to watch on tv
I love this show. I just wish the different storylines would intercept more often than they do. Too many characters to follow at times
