Excellent documentary, ultimately about research ethics and the incredible effects of science gone wrong. Really fascinating material, strong story, but not the smoothest storytelling. The brothers lived a fascinating tale. Their frustration and anger towards what happened to them seemed excessive. Their adoptive parents weren't fleshed out enough.
A cringey cringe-fest of a movie, but so beautiful. A true-to-life portrayal of growing up as the "sensitive kid". Really beautiful acting by the leads (daughter and father), and a masterful script. Reminded me of Lady Bird.
Fast-paced and smart, this crime drama is gripping beginning to end. Beautifully shot, well paced, and a curious story about a robbery gone wrong. Lots of amazing images, like the money flying on the runway, the horses pulling open the gates at the track, etc. Would definitely see it again.
Outrageously cinematic. Each shot is just absolutely beautiful and incredibly well planned. The transitions between scenes are so smooth and incredibly expensive. Very impressive movie, visually. Plot and music not as strong, but the strength of most of the main cast makes up for it.
Basically two movies in one. A great police procedural thriller with some amazing shots and a deeper reflection on how it feels to be lied to and manipulated. Would see it again. James Stewart is fantastic in this.
