A solid doc, mostly tragic stories about black gay men and trans folks. Worth knowing about. I thought drag balls like those in "Paris is Burning" were a thing of the past, but I was wrong.

So, I saw a telecast London production of this 3.5 hour shout fest. I mean, there are definitely layers to this story and a good plot but oh-my-god is the whole thing just one very long drawn out scene of totally unnatural dialogue delivered in this histrionic overblown screaming. I mean, seriously, I couldn't wait for it to be over.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

Eccentric, exaggerated, and creepy. This plot of this psychological thriller is so absurd and beyond obvious that it makes your skin crawl. It's predictable and so, so forced. An uncomfortable experience I'm in no hurry to repeat.

A great movie. Fun, quirky, suspenseful and ultimately quite funny. This is a comedy adventure set in Cold War America. The screenplay gets a lot of mileage out teasing Cary Grant for being so good-looking, and I thought that was clever. Lots of great film work here and memorable shots and scenes. I've seen it twice and would be happy to watch it again.
