This is a disappointing follow up to District 9 by Blomkamp. His talent for impressive visuals and action scenes is there but his story is terribly simple and predictable which is probably why most of the film is made up of non-stop action scenes with a few breaks for some heavy handed political ideas. Damon tries his best but has almost nothing to work with here and Foster gives what is possibly the worst performance in her career.

Men in Black II

It deserves no stars! One of the worst films of 2002. Even at 68 minutes it feels eternal! The problem - it is a lazy plotted rehash of the 1997 film.

A romantic comedy that is not very funny and in no way romantic. This is way over the top. The ending is so bad that they shot three alternate ones (available for you to choose in the DVD version). Pine's character is such a douche!

While light on the story it is worth watching for Williams and her fantastic (Oscar nominated) performance as she transforms into Marilyn Monroe.

This is impressive to look at with tremendous attention to detail in every shot. Every camera movement is so painstakingly done that it seems they were planned for years. Too bad the same can't be said about the story which is essentially a soap opera which will leave wandering not just who but where is the love.
