Captain America: The First Avenger

Does give you that nice retro look but it wears off pretty fast because of its clichedness, its your stamped super hero movie nothing new or exciting just different characters and time setting. So if you like movies like that captain america will be great for you. But here is the thing about this summer action movie its so predictable it starts becoming boring because of that, we all know whats going to happen. Example it has a cheesy romance in it now instantly lets think of some beaten to death romance scenes. Right before a hero goes and does something dangerous he gets his kiss. His girl walks by a s he is kissing another girl. I don't want to ruin anymore movie but just know captain america contains all of those scenes. However it is a good movie that avoids rambling itself into stupidity and a decent summer blockbuster for your average cinema viewer.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (AVP 2)

Needless violent and hard on trying to disturb an viewer. its out of syncness cheesy dialog and darkness make this movie itself hard to watch because of its quality. Its ending was also reminded me of they bit off more then they could chew and switched to an easy ending instead of putting thought into the script.

A Clockwork Orange

½

Kubrick paints a masterpiece of disturbing work in clockwork orange he creates this perfect dystopian world and NEVER backs away from that image. Everyone knows Clockwork is disturbing but there is a message it is conveying. Its always trying to show us what is good and what is respectful. In the start it shows a gang of violent uneducated uncivilized teenagers, doing what they want. This was framed to show there doing bad right? Then it moves on past the experiment and onto when he suddenly becomes good. Is Alex really good and recovered we really don't know. Alex doesn't harm or rape anymore but would he if he could? The second part of the movie was done in an unclear fashion I think to show do we really know whats good and bad. Kubrick tries to show in the start what bad is. But keeps an fog on Alex to show there really is a disputable area for right and wrong. I love almost everything about the movie and how it was done except for some parts where it becomes long or tedious example when he goes back to the authors house its length is over done. Other then that a brilliant piece by one of the best directors.

War of the Worlds

Good cgi and effect but annoying characters especially Dakota fanning. It seemed more as a run here scream type of movie. It was predictable type where you knew everyone was almost going to die but eventually they would find a button or main computer or something to shut them off.

Clash of the Titans

A letdown a long dragged on movie that has almost zero entertainment value, it has no emotion in it and seemed more like a money grab. Finally we get to the ending Hades is threatening his kraken for 97% of the movie and it comes out. Then after hours of it coming out of the water the movie ends with a fizz.
