A John Woo classic with every trope he's known for, Hard Boiled deserves it's status as one of the greatest action films of all time. With two awesome heroes, a great villain and a cast of colorful characters with a lot of personality, you won't care that the characters almost never reload.
An entertaining 80's action flick, but it's barely an action flick. The first two acts of the movie are very comedic and can be thin in terms of plot. Also it uses a lot of artistic licenses, for example the villain wouldn't be allowed to use his status as a diplomat to commit crimes out in the open as that would have his position removed. Despite it's flaws Lethal Weapon 2 is an entertaining movie with an explosive third act.
Rule of thumb: filming ultra violent action scenes out of order does not make a film like Tarantino. Also, some characters are so obnoxious that it's impossible to like them.
A cinematic classic which comes closest to a feature-length episode of the twilight zone.
Hardcore Henry is a wasted opportunity, an action movie shot like a first-person shooter could have been amazing and I think Hollywood should try it again. But at least give us a character with some personality and worth rooting for and the shakey cam got annoying after about 15 minutes.
