Thankfullly, this film has averted the typical American cliches and over-stylized movies that are thick on production and thin on story or naturalism. In other words, it was not made to be sell-out, wow-factor flick. It is "wow," however, in its genuine interpretations of the American family. It was a great concept and pulled off to perfection. I hope it catches on because it deserves it.
A sleeper, but in the reverse sense. Everything was expected and nothing was delivered. I slept through at least 30 minutes and apparently missed nothing.
desolate setting, sad existence and futile lives, but a beautifully made movie
