I saw a preview for this movie at "God's Not Dead 2" and basically saw it as a movie I would have to see---not saying it would be good. As the movie was starting off, I was wondering if it would be a waste of time as some other Pure Flix movies are. However, I think this movie was well worth my time. I liked how this movie stayed on one path for the most part and not have several stories going on at once and constantly switching. While the acting wasn't so great, this movie was all-in-all enjoyable, especially more since it was based on a true story. This was also not some b-rate independently filmed movie as well. This was a movie I could take a little more seriously.
This movie was starting out to be so hilarious, but then, like many comedy movies that start out hilarious, died down after a while. I am not saying this movie was bad all in all, but it could have been funnier. They unfortunately could not maintain the laugh factor.
I have been waiting months for this movie, and I have to say that I was not too disappointed with this movie. I was more disappointed with the audience as a lot of them were drinking and talking during the movie. Still, you cannot let that lower your opinion of the movie. When you eliminate that, I would say that the movie was pretty good all in all. Ben Affleck certainly did a good job in this movie along with J.K. Simmons. While this movie may have gone on a little too long in my opinion, I still think that it was pretty interesting for the most part and was well-made.
