good movie, pretty funny, a little too much drama for my taste, but well-made overall and enjoyable for a single viewing (1 viewing)
hilariously bad. laughed so much. 3.5 on the hilariocity scale, 4.0 if you are a fan of the show. i don't even know why they'd base it on the show if they were just going to change EVERYTHING (2 viewings)
started out looking like it was going to be good. turned out to be a mediocre to bad movie. the action was decent for the most part, although i couldn't tell what was happening a lot of the time. the same goes for the rest of the movie, not just the action scenes. it was sloppy. wasn't sure where everyone was or what they were doing. the human parts were pretty much garbage, but were played by good actors which made it easier to swallow. story stupid. characters non-existent. decision-making questionable. but same with kong skull island, i should have been able to enjoy this as a mindless monster movie. i enjoyed some of it. but as an overall experience, not so much. and as the movie goes on, the cheese and cliches come out from hiding. movie makers should have a cliche team, to catch any possible cliches. doesn't make sense that they are still so prevalent (1 viewing)
biggest eye-rolling moment in the movie, they are driving fast. the guy in the back seat says something like "..... he should just go home." driver slams on the breaks... "what did you say?" guy in the back seat repeats everything he just says. driver and passenger (ex-spouses) turn to each other and yell "HOME" to signify that they knew where there daughter was going. S..... M....... H
it was very close to a 3.0 but a few stupid things to finish off the movie swayed me towards a 2.5. enjoyable experience for the most part. good tone and creepiness. i just wish it was able to finish stronger and do without some of the old movie cliches (1 viewing)
