Well directed, gripping and some nice characters in this future pseudo apocalyptic future. Seemed all the rage round the time to make these bleak films but this one had a neat twist re the children. Well acted in the main.
I know it's a classic but I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed it. Not awful but I just can't ever enjoy those films about film making or the film industry. So self indulgent for Hollywood to produce so many of these films, they're almost uniformly boring. This is one of the better ones but nah not for me.
You know those beautiful 17 year old women attracted to 42 year old balding, midget men who are failed tv writers? No, me neither.
Creepy film. Only good thing about it is that it's twice as watchable as The equally rambling but even more boring Annie Hall.
I love a great travel yarn and this was brilliant. The English lady playing the Indian princess was laughable, rest of the film was ridiculous in its stereotypes but pre the day's of mass co Sumer travel this was how people saw the world and it's a great fun romp across the continents. Really enjoyed it.
