Okay for children, but far too cringy for anyone over 10. Can't say the graphics have aged well eiter. Every time they used the air ship, it felt like I eas playing a Playstation 2 game.
I really hate the music. It's a bunch of offkey screaching & wailing. This one girl with a high pitched voice is especially awful.
It's impossible to ignore or overlook the fanfic quality story & dialogue, & the uncanny valley of the cgi. You watch this after an episode of Star Trek TNG & marvel at how much better the aliens looked in the 80s compared to something that came out less than a year ago. Some of the aliens look like plastic toys, others look like Playstation 2 renders. The jokes are pretty cringy too.
Some of the jokes were "eh" but it's so refreshing to hear classic insult comedy where no one is spared, coming from a comedian who gives no shits if it offends anyone, because what could be lamer than being offended by comedy?
Don't understand the bad rating for this. Robin Williams was much better at serious movies than he was at comedy. Best thing I've ever seen him in.
