Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes(2009)

Classified: Very Fresh

Defining Moment: Any time Sherlock broke things down for the audience to step into his process of thought is amazing.

Highs:
Perfect casting, Robert Downey JR is superb being both a genius mixed with sides of insanity. Jude Law is great as Watson bringing out the best in Downey, then to add Mark Strong and Rachel McAdams gives this cast so much strength. Story is well told and great scenery of old London.

Lows:
Although the storyline was great and well told, I didn't think that it was the one needed for the opening Sherlock movie (I will explain in conclusion).

H&L Conclusion:
Although I really enjoyed this film, I did feel that it was the wrong story told. I believe that they should have one or two movies that were well told murder mysteries and then moved too the more 'impossible' super-natural case. Just a pet-peeve but I feel like the heightened sense of danger has been taken out, where else do they go?

Apart from that awesome way of telling a Sherlock Holmes story. Edgy, classy and funny with great moments of intensity and danger. Check it out ....
