Prometheus (2012)

I want to invite everyone over to my house, I'll pop in Alien and Aliens in my Blue Ray player, we can discuss how hot Sigourney Weaver was back then, and we can forget all about this travesty of a film. Also, everyone keeps saying this film is going to do so well at the box office and make tons of money. Well, I went to a brand-new movie theater in my hometown to see it on the night it opened, and I only counted 2 people in the theater with me. It may make some money but hardly as much as Avatar did.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Can't wait for this, I'm so excited, it's just about the only film I want to see this year, too bad about Del Toro, although I would rather see PJ directing anyway. Loved the trailer, great to put a song in there as it fits in with LOTR and the Hobbit.

World Trade Center

This is an Oliver Stone movie without Oliver Stone. None of the conspiracy of JFK is present here, and that's a shame, because what made JFK so great was its hypnotically watchable weirdness. Stone makes a film about 9-11 yet without conspiracy? What gives? Even the CNN footage was more interesting, Oliver should have done what he knows, what he does best, instead of trying to make it heartwarming, that's not the Oliver Stone we all knew. Even though I don't believe it was a conspiracy, I would have respected Stone's film as one, as controversial. A controversial 9-11 film would have been exciting, or he could have made a revenge film. But this is the cotton candy version of the story, sugar-coated and dull.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Great film all around, everyone does a good job in the ensemble cast, and I dare you to name a John Wayne film that was better than this film. Overall, my favorite movie of all time, no one did it better than this.

American Beauty

Completely overrated piece of crap film. And, call me gay I don't care, I really don't want to see a young girls belly on the cover, its just too prurient for me.
