You can feel it’s Guy Ritchie straight away, but he’s thrown a bit more into this one, it’s not your classic Lock Stock, completely loved the movie.
It’s like when you start eating an apple and you bite your tongue, a little bitter sweet. It’s too much like a real persons life albeit in America, with the outrageous Hollywood style courts, not enough ups and downs to be rated this highly, like a puff of smoke, some parts are good, but it’s a very long good in terms of running time. I wouldn’t watch again, but I did like parts of it.
This is a really well thought horror movie, packs a real punch, probably my favourite horror by quite a distance, not your average story, similar to others in a few ways, adds a great deal more though.
I feel a bit disconnected from most of the people on here when I see how highly this has been rated, it was a bit of an annoying experience to be honest, I can’t even find anything I like, my wife also couldn’t find anything to like about it.
If anyone actually puts a review on here that this film is anything other then total rubbish, they should have their oxygen supply removed immediately. This film starts with such promise, it really does, then completely let’s you down, I can visualise the director and the other people who worked on the film patting each other on the back and telling each other how great it is, but there is a massive elephant in the room. The main problem is, it’s at the no mans land place where it’s not even funny bad, It’s like stepping in dog poo, then smelling the poo to check if it’s actually poo on your shoe, but for two hours.
