Killing Them Softly
3 years ago via Movies on iPhone

The all star cast just points the viewers memory to better gangster movie and crime drama TV shows. We get there is an economic crisis and the director didn't have to remind the audience by inducing needless speeches by Former president Bush and current president Obama. The alcoholic hit man and his pending divorce was extremely needless and just goes to show the director was just using fluff to fill an hour and half movie.

Killer Joe

This flick was going for shock and awe but a twisted precise way. I felt used as a viewer because the story was trying to make us feel uncomfortable "how much can you take" type mentality.

Point of No Return (The Assassin)

Point of No Return starring Bridgette Fonda was far to similar to Kill Bill and pulp fiction to be just "homage" reminded me of the John Woo Hong Kong flicks of the late 80's early 90's. I really like this flick

Moonrise Kingdom

A good film but not a great film. This flick was surreal and real life both at the same time. I line how the director had all the actor stand in a still manner when speaking which lends to the surreal aspect but all though this was the strength of the film I felt it was also what kept this film from being a classic

Looper (2012)

I'm I the only person that didn't like this film? Looper left a lot of loop holes. You can kill people in the future because of "tagging devices" so you need an elaborate scheme to time travel a hitman and the target to before such device and erase them from the future yet everyone around the target is getting killed in the future and telekinesis is so forced upon the viewer the whole plot unravels in the first ten minutes of the flick
