Anna Kendrick came very close to being TOO "Anna Kendrick" here, but overall this movie was so much fun. First movie I've ever enjoyed Blake Lively in, but she did a great job and Henry Golding was excellent, also. Paul Feig has such a knack for making extremely watchable films. P.S. the potty-mouthed little boy was hilarious.
wish they had skipped the whole flashback idea; didn't work for me. I just wanted more Meryl, more of all the original movie characters, and much much more CHER!
The stars are magnetic, and Paris and THE FASHION is to die for. The story and dialogue are cringe-worthy, and only a couple of the several songs hold up. The 30-year age gap b/w Astaire and Hepburn is just . . . yuck.
