Ted (2012)
5 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

An irreverent, living-breathing-talking teddy bear helps his 38 year old adult owner "grow up." My guess is that scenes that wouldn't be funny in the least if a real human was in them are supposed to be funny here because a stuffed animal is doing... driving... drinking... cursing... fucking... fighting... masturbating.......

This movie is about as necessary as a second asshole. And just as funny.

Your Sister's Sister

Excellent acting (for the most part) saves what is meant to be a quirky, heartfelt but often very contrived script. Extremely low budget gave the impression the DP lit with whatever lights were at hand. Never seen anyone have a party in an apartment where all the curtain were drawn. Can't explain that one, but opening scene was about on student filmmaker level of technical execution. Ending was wrapped up a bit too nicely, though it did affect the emotions. Again that was more from the performances than the script.

Gone (2012)

The law doesn't believe her...
Her friends are starting to doubt her...
No one will help her... !!!

Fuck man! What's a hottie supposed to do? I'll tell you what a hottie supposed to do dammit... Get a gun and go bat shit crazy on that serial killer who took your damn sister... that's what!!

What to expect?

1. Extremely low bar as far as the acting and writing.
2. Some mildly titillating shots of young women behind a shower curtain or in bed wearing panties
3. Zero suspense
4. Zero thrills
5. Some serious end violence as the heroine butchers the sadistic serial killer and saves the day

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

Piece of shit when it came out in 2D - piece of shit now in "3D." This re-release is nothing but a cash grab. I used to love Lucas and his movies. Now the kindest thing I can say about him is he sucks.
