Titanic (1997)

I honestly don't think its possibly to give a bad review for Titanic. I grew up around this movie, and until now, when I watched it again, this time in 3D, it still managed to blow me away .

The Last Airbender

As a huge fan of the cartoon series, this movie turned out to be a really awful attempt at something that could have been really good.

It was incredibly racist in my opinion, completely removing the international elements that make up each nation. The costumes and production design in general was inaccurate and ended up looking tacky.

The poster looked good though.

Skyfall (2012)
5 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

Skyfall was absolutely awesome! Storywise and production wise! Despite the fact that I wasn't able to watch the 007 movie and had absolutely no prior knowledge about James Bond, it wasn't very hard to keep track of what's going on, who's who and all that.

Camera shots used throughout the movie were a perfect mix of traditional and experimental. Surprising those who know how to look. The production design was well thought off and every single detail adhered to the film theory of mis-en-scene.

And the soundtrack - Adele was perfect. She was her wonderful soulful self and it gave Skyfall the extra push that made it the smashing success that it is.

All in all, Skyfall was one of the best movies I have watched in 2012.
