Rating History

One for the Money

Despite what other reviewers are saying - I liked this movie.
It was light hearted. The main characters had chemistry. And it had some genuinely funny moments.
If you want to have a chuckle, with your partner on the couch. And not have too think too hard.
I'd recommend seeing this.
3 1/2 Tender Tomatoes from me:P

The Eagle
The Eagle (2011)

A mildly interesting story of one man's trials to regain the honour of his Father's lost legion.
Whilst the story itself is mediocre at best. The rendering of the Roman Garrison and the historical notes were what got me sticking around till the end.
6/10 Genetically Modified Tomatoes.

Planet of the Apes

This re-make of a classic is a testament too idiocy. The only reason I gave it any score is due to a few nice effects.
The rest is bleh. I walked out of this one 3/4 the way through.
1/10 RT's

Black Swan
Black Swan (2010)

I simply loved it. An excellent choice of movie to watch curled up with a love one on the couch. And the end was masterfully done. Natalie Portman does it once again.
9/10 Juicy Tomatoes.

The Adjustment Bureau
6 years ago via Rotten Tomatoes

A refreshing twist on a 'meant to be' love.
Although the Adjustment Bureau sub-plot that we are guided by beings that just want us to grow up was a bit weak.
I found myself swept along with the romance of it all.
7/10 Tasty Tomatoes from me:)
