In spite of having poor characterizations and some bad lines, Porco Rosso is a fun, often humorous, well scored, and exciting film.
'The Hunger Games' is burdened by two main flaws:
1) The camera is so shaky that, when the characters are fighting, it's impossible to tell what is going on.
2) The movie doesn't spend enough time on the tributes from the other districts. This is bad because, when the other tributes die, we don't care ((forgive me for how cruel that sounded)
'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' has a bad script, a bad director, and WAY too many video-game visuals.
The script is disgusting, the acting is even worse, and the directing, I am sorry to say, is bad.
Two interesting stories, a gentle pace, clever transitions between past and present, and a great performance by Meryl Streep help make Julie & Julia a good time at the movies.
