The Wolf of Wall Street

I didn't see a point in the story after from depicting the life of Belford. The performance of artists were brilliant of course with emphasis on drug, women and his life degradation. That's about the only point in the movie, to capture Belfords life's degradation. Didn't see a message, didn't see a strong story.. Just saw a lot of naked women, cocain, swear words and money. If this was the purpose, to depict all this, I don't see how this movie alone would stand out because it has big names in it. Don't think about watching this movie with family because it's not a family movie to share in any holiday season, but simply one that borders pornography.

Surprisingly, one of the BEST scifi movies I have ever seen. The movie has a very strong story imagination and is intelligent. It starts off with a simple storyline and as the movie progresses, you see it becoming more and more complicated, intense with an ending that did justice to the whole movie as well. Its one of those movies, every father would definitely relate to. Joseph, has shown a lot of maturity in his acting that he easily would come off as one of hollywoods most highest rated starts. I feel, he definitely overshadowed Bruce making Bruce willis well replaceable in the movie. I believe that Joseph will definitely have this movie to his credit always. Dont miss this movie.

Mama (2013)

Intelligent, scary most of the times.. the starting of the movie puts together an expectation of a compelling, not thought of before end. Sadly, that is not the case. The end is pretty much predictable. But there are some questions that passes through your mind as you watch the movie, but from a horror point of view, I wouldnt give it much thought.
Definitely worth a watch, not with kids under the age of 15 i would say as the story revolves around kids and has a potential of inducing fear into them.

Ever watched a movie that tells a story in such a manner that makes you part of it? - this is one. The narrative, direction and picturization of the story (even though the story isn't anything unique) from Takashi Miike, really places this picture apart form the rest. 2 points that I would kinda mark against it is story (however gets compensated by picturization and direction) and Takashi Miike's tendency to sometimes pull/extend considerably the 'gore' element out of any particular scene.
