Need to get away from most of today's cinema of violence? Then this is for you! Great nostalgia with an updated view. Even if you don't like this kind of music, which I do, then you will appreciate the wonderful storyline and ending. The chemistry between Stone and Gosling works well in their third movie together. Get the soundtrack!

3 reasons I went & watched: 1. Time travel/Historical references, 2. Matrix comparisons/Sci-Fi Fanboy, 3. Fassbender. That said, aside from the wonderful costume design, action sequences, and technical aspects in the film, I felt this lacked emotion, character connections, and disconnected storylines. Will we ever have a successful video game movie? smh

Passengers (2016)

Being alone. Addressing loneliness. Chris Pratt & Jennifer Lawrence are very impressive in this compelling journey. I hope there is never a sequel as the ending is perfect! Nice story where the main villain is the question you ask yourself how to live. Impactful sci-fi without overdoing the action that makes you compare what you would do if you were in that situation!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Wasn't sure what to expect, but now very satisfied under the direction of Gareth Edwards. I was able to follow Felicity Jones and Diego Luna seamlessly, with some familiar faces along the way. Tarkin and Vader does not disappoint! Now I can revisit Episode 3 then Episode 4, and understand it all in a whole new way!

Suicide Squad

The performances and chemistry worked for this movie, but the story itself has much to be said. Viola Davis' Amanda Waller stands out along with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. The soundtrack is killer and so glad they did not overdo Will Smith's Deadshot as this is about the whole group as a movie. Looking forward to the Blu Ray version that should be more of an extended version that should explain the movie in its entirety. Definitely a must see film. Ignore the critics and see for yourself!
