Perfect performance (surprisingly?) by Kristen Stewart. Extraordinary screenwriting weaves back and forth between the social dynamics of acted characters and the social dynamics of the real world characters. Sure, that's been done many times before but so very well done here.
You won't like this movie if you need an interesting, dynamic, action filled storyline. But you will like this movie if you appreciate art, poetry and quiet character studies.
4 stars on the strengh of James McAvoy's performance. Even better than his performance in Split. Jackson and Willis' performances are good also. Plotline a bit disjointed. But who cares when McAvoy is on the screen.
