To be frank, the scale of the film is so grand, they forgot to nail a thriller with a gripping storyline. I do not know, why they brought the best of the film in the last 30 minutes only. The first half was so flat and opening fight scene was so long and irritating also. The soundtrack was so loud. This easily should have been 30 minutes chopped. A 150 minute film could have been better than the 172 minute version. The first 1 hour of the film I give a 2/5
the second hour the film I give a 2.5/5 . reason is silly song placements and forced romance here.
the final 45 minutes of the film, I give a 3.5/5. mainly for action scenes and on par visuals meeting hollywood standards. But still VFX was low standard in certain action scenes.
So finally the rating on whole is 2.7/5 for the movie.
It was a flat film for the most part. Poor direction, poor song placements, very fast editing and confusing screenplay with too many twists that make no sense. Forget the story. it is just a line long.
IF screenplay and direction would have been better for this old 80's story telling, saaho is a good film. But it falls flat and ends average for me. Sujeeth is not a master craftsman here.
A movie without epic feel. When superheroes come together, we expect crazy CGi effects, super charged action scenes, and touch of humor. This film builds a lot in character development and the awakening of superman seems too hurried up. All actions scenes, seemed forced and perfunctory. The plot is muddy and murky. The thin screenplay could not save the film from being a good one. What was good! There was a touch of humor rarity in DCEU. But still snyder and whedon could not save the film from poor CGI and no smash em up or hair rising action set pieces. Justice league needs a reboot and rethink. May be for sequel they can work on that.
