It is a shame that it took so long for movie studios to finally begin to realize that they should be closely following the source material of the comics that these superheroes come from, to do them justice. This is a prime example of giving a character the movie they deserve. Logan is so good that it ticks me off and makes one wonder what could have been if only they had given the other countless movies with Wolverine an "R" rating, to truly do his character justice.

Batman has been played by 6 different actors, Superman has been played by at least 3, and Spiderman has also been played by 3, but there has only ever been one Wolverine and it's Hugh Jackman. Jackman gives an amazing final performance as the character he was born to play. In my opinion Jackman is the best casted fit for a character in movie history. At this point I can't imagine anyone else ever being in the role.

This wasn't just a great superhero movie, it was a great movie period. It is one of the very few super hero movies that can be considered a masterpiece. Logan is without a shred of a doubt the best
X-Men movie and I can confidently say it is the best overall superhero movie since The Dark Knight.

John Wick: Chapter 2

½

John Wick Chapter 2 just solidified Keanu Reeves and his character as one of the best action movie
actors/characters of all-time. On top of that, this might be the best action movie of the last 20 years.

James Bond, Jason Bourne, and any Liam Neeson character..... eat your heart out and make way for John Wick.

This movie has raised the bar for action movies to an impossibly high level. Good luck to any other action movie made from here on out, because they will have their work cut out for them to look even half as cool as this movie is.

Thor: The Dark World

Thor's sophmore solo outing is much more action packed and has much more Asgard than the original. Thor seems to have lost all of his character an ego from the first film, which is a shame. The same can't be said about Loki though. He was the life of the movie for what little screen time he had. You would just swear that Thor was shot with a tranquilizer before every scene. It feels like Hemsworth (Thor) doesn't even want to be in this film.
Minor gripes aside, this movie looks beautiful! Asgard is brimming with life. This movie really puts special effects to good use. People looking for action will also not be disapointed, because "The Dark World" packs a punch. The original Thor from 2011 was much more grounded and character driven whereas this entry is much more visual and magical.
This will definitely tide Marvel fans over until the next Marvel movie comes out this summer. "Thor: The Dark World" is one of the better solo Marvel movies to date.

After the 1998 movie that destroyed the Godzilla name and series, the U.S. got another shot at bringing the giant lizard to the big screen. It plays out as a half human drama disaster movie, half super giant monster beat-down movie. It definitely succeeds on the later half. the CGI for the monsters is some of the best ever seen. The last third of the movie is where all the build up finally pays off in full. This is definitely one of the best Godzilla movies ever made. The sequel can't come soon enough!

It is no "Taken" but it is a great thriller, if not a "one time watch". The movie's main downfall is how great of a mystery it is, but only to figure out that this can't be watched again. There is also a really awesome move by Liam Neeson towards the end of the movie. Screw gravity, that was awesome!
